Intro~
"But mommy, why do all the big kids get to?!" Asked a young boy, watching a group of teenagers walking down a road towards the training ground with their dragons behind them through the kitchen window. "Because dear," answered his mother, washing dishes behind him. "They're all much older then you, and know what their doing." continued the women. The boy began to pout, crossing his arms and puffing out his lower lip. His mother saw this and smiled. "Your get your time, almost everyone does." she said. At this moment, a long necked, silver dragon stuck it's head through the kitchen door with a dead chicken in it's jaws. "Thank you, Kitcha." the women said, taking the chicken in her arms. "It's hard to find some good food around here lately, and the farm's getting a bit barren. Jack, why don't you go with Kitcha and go tend to the sheep?" The boy, Jack, signed and stopped his pouting. "Fine." he said, and jumped up from his seat. He rubbed his hand on the dragon's nose as he walked past. " C'on Kit, but remember now to use claws this time."

Seeing as it was a little after noon, all of the contestants were heading down to the training fields. Milo, being the cocky guy that he was, laid on the back of Havana as she walked along in the front of the group. Both dragon and human seemed to be a perfect match. They were both show-offs and felt they should be leader. Although this often lead to confrontation, each trying to control the other at a task at hand.

Evan watched as Milo and Havana took the lean of the group. He felt more comfortable walking next to Ksuzz. Havana was such a large beast, Evan wasn't sure how she managed to get entered into the contest. Ksuzz on the other hand, was more like a working dragon. His tan-green scales and double ended tail would have worked perfectly with being a scout, but Evan just couldn't let that happen. A scouts job is to fly around the canyon of Edge. It's a hard job that he just didn't think Ksuzz could do.

Elle didn't seem to be paying much attention to where she was walking, something Fyalon noticed quite a bit. She would get so into her drawing that she would just block out the rest of the world. It was a pretty bad habit when you lived on a floating piece of rock in the sky. Fyalon huffed out a cool puff of orange smock, something he himself did quite often.

Ruby and Hulon always seemed to be late to the training sessions, but that was alright. Ruby often got caught up with the eggs, whilst Hulon was just lazing about on the front lawn, trying to soak as much of the sun's warmth as he possibly could before they had to leave. Once Ruby finally noticed what time it was, she had to quickly get dressed, seeing as an old style dress wasn't proper training wear.

(Its good but I don't know many words that people use to describe dragons job or what there doing... O.o. Like umm... Scout, that's a word I would have never thought of using.)

(So this is training and not the contest right? This is going to be a hard RP for me... O.o)

Deryk walked with his dragon Sin to the training field. He wondered who was going to turn up for this event. He wondered if anybody he liked as a friend would be there. He wasn't sure about Sin. She didn't seem very happy about being entered in the contest and he hoped that she didn't blow it on purpose. He knew they were a pretty strong team and he didn't like to force her to do things she didn't want to do. She was a strong, independent dragon that sometimes scared him. They were alike in most ways which scared other people. He petted Sin along her back and gave her a warm smile. "It will be fine." He said trying to encourage her but knew when her mind was settled on something she didn't drop it very easily.

(I'm gonna do one reply at a time to make it easier for me. I don't know my characters really well yet.)

Jaydyn hopped on the back of his dragon Quaran and rearranged himself to get comfortable. He loved riding his dragon but knew it tired Quaran out. He Had been timing Quaran lately and knew the dragon could fly thirty minutes at a time before getting tired. The number changed with the speed the Quaran was going. It was a pretty good compared to other dragons. One day he was going to leave this town and find out what lyed beyond this rock.
