i keep looking in the seasonal festival tab for more activities to do in the week of love, but all i can find is the task log. the last fest i was here to partake in (the winter festival) had a zone to explore and games to play and a shop to buy things from. of course, these things were released slowly and not all at once, is it the same case for the week of love? or do we only get a task log?

also, aside from those two fests, what other events/fests does the game host and when do they happen?

There's a difference between one of the four seasonal festivals and a holiday event- Seasonal fests like Winterfest have their own Fest Zone, a great many activities, special fest currency, boards, and new themes for all species, and last for ~5 weeks (4 for the fest proper, 1 for wrap-up).

Events like this one and the other non-seasonal events (this one (Week of Love) (takes place around feb 14th), Fortune Festival (takes place in march), Patriotic Event (in july), Easter Event (around easter in April), Black Friday Extravaganza (november)) have assorted activities, typically last 1-2 weeks, do not have their own zones, may get 1-5 new themes (but may use primarily ones from past years), and maybe 1-2 bosses that can be found as random encounters in the Lost Grove or region 3 zones.
What activities there are will depend on which holiday it is.

Mostly they begin when Krin gets to it- Winterfest typically starts in mid-december (to keep christmas+new years withing the bounds of the fest)(with Advent calendar starting beforehand), Fallfest generally starts mid-october (to keep halloween itself inside the bounds of the fest), Summerfest and springfest are more just 'some point during those seasons'

("that fest distribution seems wonky" one might say, and yeah. probably has to do with when people are feeling particularly in a fest-time mood in the real world. But also what Krin is doing at the time. If he's trying to get multiple things done he might be distracted and end up kicking a fest off late)
