This sylesti in particular hasn't matured yet, and I'm pretty sure full maturity is 18 days, but correct me if I'm wrong and this is normal??

Hatchling in the sense that I hatched it out of its egg. It's an adolescent now, but my question still remains

it is an adolescent
it takes 648 hours for something to turn into an adult aka 27 days. If it is 22 days then it is somewhere around 528 hours old.

Getting the pet genetically tested will reveal the exact number, if you're curious. Like this pet currently says "Adolescent (388/648)", because he's been tested.
