the castle thing for the spring festival won't work for me..

'castle thing'? 'won't work'? Can you clarify/explain what you mean?

the secret on the castle, which is on the other side of the cave

do you mean the spot with the two gold eggs and the nest? Because that was a once-off Secret Area (along with the one that goes along under the caves and also has two gold eggs and a nest)
The secret spots with that specific prize setup appear for one year and you get the prizes from them one single time (this map was made a while ago)- this year there's just one spot with this setup, in a different location.
