@Ruinia Yeah, I've been thinking that a version 2 will be coming sooner than later already. When it does happen I'll link back to the original guide. I think I'll also reserve a lot more posts to keep from having to make a version 3 for a while. I'm going to go for a walk soon but I'm going to send Krinadon a message about some of our remaining questions. By the way, if you'd like to only of course and have the time, I think your outfit is really gorgeous and would be great to post in the Show Off Your Avatar! thread.

Speaking of the Show Off Your Avatar thread, I made a link to it on the first post. I think the two are closely enough related dealing with Avatar items. I was also thinking of making another new thread. Show Off Your Custom Avatar Items! thread. Then also have a link to it from here. It might be a sort of neat cheat to see custom items that aren't listed in the guide?

Hmmm... I think you can do this instead; after you ran out of space to type and someone has posted after that, just link it to the post you want it to be continued at.

This is great idea! Tbh, I see it as a wishlist, maybe someone want a specific avatar item so bad and they had no money to buy it, some nice player can see it and give it to them! I know there are lots of nice players here! (Seeing all those giveaways)

@Ruinia I think that's a great idea. I'm not if I should push for it or just let it naturally evolve. What do you think? Should the first post be added to? I do enjoy how the Avatar Item Guide has some really fun chatting in it.

I'll think about your idea for extending a guide by linking posts. I'm not sure it would be as visually appealing but I guess this is about practicality, isn't it? I think this thread might still have a good bit of room left for the time being unless we get a whole bunch of new stuff for the Spring Festival plus April avatar items. I wouldn't complain if that happens though!

I'll link the Avatar Item Guide, the Show off your avatar!, and Show off your custom avatar items! threads together. I started to do it and just need to finish. What I like about the Show off your custom avatar items! thread is that I think it's best to leave the custom items out if this guide except mentioning they do exist. If I did post them all here I'm not too sure about posting custom items without the permission of the owner either and that thread allows for voluntary showing of what one has.

Let it naturally evolve I think! But maybe you can add 'you can post your dream custom avatars here too!' kind of thing. So maybe players sort of post their dream custom avatar designs! XD


Yep, unfortunately, it is aimed for practicality. I think we should start learning on how to make a wiki, unless someone here could teach us! XD
It's better to use wiki IMO, since we can post the pictures as well. But we're open for suggestions, no? XD

Yeah, a wiki would definitely be the best option to shoot for. I have no idea on how they work but I certainly wouldn't be opposed to learning to help out if we start to get together to work on one.

It's fine. It's any way you want to post so long as it has a custom item in it. I want to make it as friendly as possible. Think it best to make mention in the top post about posting custom dream items or to say in a reply? I'm going to be posting a custom candy wand in a bit anyway but I wanted others to post first.
