Looks good! So, out of curiosity, what should all of us new affiliates be doing if we wish to become recruits? *chomping at the bit, eager to get started*

Might be cool to have a mini version of the logo, or perhaps for ranks/badges as well to make them little level-up'able adoptables. Was thinking using a site like http://squiby.net/

While squiby used to limit adoptables to be clicked once a day, when squiby's ownership changed they unfortunately changed it to unlimited clicks a day. Not sure if there is another site like squiby with the limit in place. Could use an honor system. Was thinking the objective/way to advance ranks could be to get clicks and you get clicks when you do something good or complete a task. But could also just be for kicks.

I haven't really used squibly that much myself. Only made two adoptables two years ago.

I totally love the idea of having, if not adoptables, at least a sort of "token" for the people who want one? You know, like a little "persona" of themselves. We could have official Mafia artists who could, on commission-based work, design cute little "game tokens/personas" for each member who wants to buy one? Or... they could be given out as contest rewards, raffle prizes, prizes for reaching the highest rank, etc. So these little characters could be a fun thing to incorporate into our guild lore, as well! :3

I like the idea of the cute tiny adoptables per member. c: I would rather leave it as a static token though, and leave the leveling up to moving through ranks.

The main issue is probably finding someone to commission to do the art of each person. I would want each person to pay for their own "token/mascot/avatar" art, so having one would be entirely optional and only give the artist enough work as there is interest. (also, may limit it to 1 avatar/token per 2 months, incase users want to change their avi)

Once an artist is around that can do this for all interested members (cough cough), something like this would be more feasible. c: I can look into squibby if it's popular (I've seen em before on Gaia online).

Yeah, I am in complete agreement about each member paying for their own token/character, and be optional. I think 1 per person would be best as well. Squiby is pretty fun, but the problematic thing I'm seeing that was mentioned before is that some squibies can reach hundreds of levels in weeks, and anyone can click on any squiby to level it up (which, if we decide to leave leveling up to moving through ranks, would defeat the purpose of using squiby altogether).

EDIT: I could probably do preliminary design sketches of members who wanted to commission their own character, but it might be best to leave the final product to someone with more free time. (*Has finals coming up x-x*)

Ah I was thinking we all have the same adoptable, rather than unique for each person. After all, if each person has their own, it loses its cohesiveness.

For example: A version of the sylestia logo as an adoptable. Each person can adopt one and name it what they want -- perhaps their rank.

But I mean, I'm up for whatever.

The logo's adorable! Also, would the badges be a verbal "You have achieved the rank of ___." Or could we design a legit badge for each of the ranks; I'm thinking something like an old coat-of-arms/crest-ish thing.

Using Squiby sounds like a good idea.
