Lady Allure
Once, she was beautiful. Once, she was gentle and kind. Once, she was the envy of a nation. Now she bears ivory claws, thick black fur and blood stained fangs.

The Lady Allure lived a life of luxury and privilege. Sighing on the arms of knights, singing to handsome lords and batting painted eyelashes at wealthy princes. She drew the gaze of every man and woman she glided past and dreamed of a day she would marry a beautiful man equalling herself.

But dreams are made of just that and eventually like most noble daughters whom are simply the property of their fathers, she was sold. She was married off to a short, fat, ugly, old and worst of all unkind king. Shipped far away from her glamorous home. Sentenced to a life away from pretty parlours and charming courts, demoted to a rank of house ornament and bed warmer.

How dare she be paired with someone like him? He was not match, no equal. He was disgusting, too rough, too mean, too old and too ugly. So, like many in her situation, she took a lover in secret. A beautiful bard with silvery moonlight hair, boyish features and a voice that soothed her stormy rage. A true equal to her. A beautiful and delightful secret.

But, there is always a but with secrets. They are hard to keep and soon enough someone found out. Soon enough someone told the grisly king and soon enough the punishment for keeping secrets was to come. Her beautiful bard, tortured and killed, no longer would she hear his song. Her beautiful face, beaten and bruise, never killed, she cost too much. Her freedom, stolen, locked away in her room with big iron doors and large, heaving locks.

This was not her end, she had nothing left to lose now. So one dark night, when the king had drunk too much and was in a deep sleep, she escaped. Remembering how to pick locks with her hair pins, as she did as a child, she bolted from her castle turned prison and sought out the only person who could help, a sorcerer who was rumoured to dwell in the woods.

The sorcerer smirked at the foolish girl and demanded everything in return for her revenge. And so with little hesitation, Lady Allure traded it all. Her looks, her money, her clothes, her privilege, her blood, her soul, her everything, for those ivory claws, thick black fur and blood stained fangs. And under the moonlit night, a Lady no more, but a beast, stormed that castle turned prison, with all her fiery rage, devouring everyone, every last blood drop. Blood for blood, pain for pain, ugly for ugly.

I must say it was quite the challenge coming up with an idea but I managed. My avatar is based off of my username,
TheMoonlightBlossom

To a lot of people this might not make sense but when I imagine my username as a solid picture, I imagine a midsummer night where you can just lay upon the grass, feeling the blades of grass between your fingers, staring up into the sky with not only the moon shining down on you but the stars too. Although flowers, let alone blossoms, are not related to summer, I'd like to think that on this night, I could hold a delicate blue blossom in my hand as I watch stars shoot across the sky, asking others to join them in their unique dance.

I will probably come back and edit my post when I have more time so hopefully everyone will understand but for now this will have to do.

As I was creating a costume, I was thinking "dark purple" and after a few tries, matched it with white. She is now a pretty ghost. I have to say, I love her :)

The Kappa is a Japanese water yokai who are known as trickster, and are often blamed for luring people to the river beds and drowning them by using their wrestling powers. One day a Kappa came across two samurai. To save themselves from the yokai, the samurai bowed to her, knowing that a kappa could not ignore the social courtesy and that once she did the bowl on her head would empty of water and she would be frozen in the bow until it refilled, and the samurai could escape a watery fate.

I thought this a good opportunity to start thinking about festive season type outfits. It doesn't get cold here (in Australia) at all during the festive season but there's something inherently novel about a cold festive season and the Snegurochka Robes just scream festive to me. I adore purple and I've been trying to come up with a design using the Storm Witch crown for some time. Can't help but feel that this character could well be a great nemesis for Elsa from Frozen :D

"Dark Priestess of the Anubis"

I wanted to create an egyptian look, and the arachnic armor from this halloween reminded me a bit of an egyptian outfit with scarabs. And Anubis is my favorite of the egyptian gods, so i adore the mask! :D

The Necromancer

Some people speak to the dead to find a sense of enlightenment, fulfillment or peace.
Some people speak to ancestors to find strength and serenity.
Other people speak to the dead, and the dead speak back.

S k e l e t t
______________

have you ever wondered where the bones and souls of defeated enemies go? well, i can tell you. legend speaks of an interesting tale, one that is centered around the presence of a certain figure. the bone reaper. they call her Skelett, her because it seems that the reaper always chooses to materialize as a tall, pale-skinned girl, aged only around her mid teens. stories claim that she is a silent, cunning figure dressed in tattered clothes, an ashen cape trimmed with bone, wings made of the lost souls that were unable to escape her grasp, and finally, a gemmed hood partially concealing her pale face. her face, though, is the most interesting factor of the reaper. human-like eyes that shine the lightest yellow, a deteriorated nose that shows more bone than cartilage, pure white hair that reflects the moonlight, all accented by a fanged smile that devours all wounded souls that have evaded death in the battlefield.

as the tale goes, and as you may assume, Skelett's appearances go hand in hand with war and death. it is said that once a battle grows cold, she appears, roaming the battlefield and collecting the souls and bones of those lost, trapped in this world. it may seem like a back breaking task, but the bone reaper is not alone. she has quite the help, one would say that her helper is almost as terrifying as she is. to aid her in her task, Skelett is found with an ashen colored ghostly hellhound by her side, whom of which she calls Ossein. when given the word, Ossein rushes ahead of her, collecting the souls and bones from all bodies in their path. the collected remnants are then added to her cape and wings, where they are kept for centuries to come. though, some souls are lucky enough to escape her wings, and it is these souls that take part in regeneration.

i suppose you can thank the bone reaper for the clean battlefields of Sylestia, or despise her for taking away possible regenerations. but i suppose one thing is for certain.. hope she doesn't come for you.

Daughter of the Dragonkin

Long ago, Man and Dragon existed side by side. However, the Dragons envied Man's shape, for they found it more versatile than their large and mighty bodies. And so, through their magics, they learned to take a form very similar to Man's own, albeit still with some of their reptilian features.

However, Man grew to fear them, who had forms so like their own but not like them at the same time. The mighty Dragons were hunted to near extinction, for they refused to shed the blood of innocents caught up in a mob mentality by their leaders. And so they fled to a paradise deep in the forests to hide away.

Their wings give them the power to fly short distances, while their horns and claws are great for hunting. Also, as they were once beasts, the Dragonkin can communicate with animals. While they would never use that ability to help them catch prey, it has allowed for them to befriend creatures of all shapes and sizes.

Being human is hard. There's sleeping, and eating, and sometimes bodies get sick, or feel pain. Of course, that's not something that Esk understands, really. Being an android comes with its own struggles, too. Sometimes Esk's joints get stuck, or they need to replace a part.
Interacting with people can also be a problem for an artificial intelligence. Esk isn't emotive on their own, and has trouble fitting the right tone of voice to their words for human benefit, which can lead to them saying things like "I'm so sorry for your loss," at a funeral with what sounds like absolute glee.
But they're doing their best.
