I took the traditional Christmas colors and softened them, made them more pastel-ish. <3 The colors also remind me of the tropical ocean, since in the Southern Hemisphere they have Christmas in the summer. :B

The Alaskan Aurora Borealis, so fleeting and beautiful, lighting up the night sky and blanketing the icy north with beautiful sky jewels.

Based on the weather I've seen lately in South Florida. ;u;
Winters lately (if ever) have been hardly cold. At best, they dip in the 60s because of wind chill, and wind is rare as it is. The skies are gray, with a bit of sunlight peeking out here and there. But I like this kind of winter.

Based on the some of the colours of the Northern Lights; which can occasionally be seen at this time of year on very clear nights not far from my home.
