I decided to visit superstitions from various places around the world. I may add more later.
Blue Flame Candle- supposedly if a candle's flame suddenly turns blue a spirit/ghost is nearby
Pocket Ghost- when you pass a house where someone died you are supposed to turn your pockets inside out so ghost don't go home with you in them
Animal Guardian- to prevent ghosts from entering a house people used to bury the bones of an animal or a picture of an animal near their front door
Banshee- Her wailing is supposed to indicate a death will occur
Nut Gatherer- It is believed that the devil gathers nuts in some places
Bats- They have a couple different beliefs both of them are opposite of each other. They either signify good weather or are a bad omen.
White Cat- the black cat crossing your path is supposed to be bad luck but the white cat is supposed to be good luck. Since I do not like solid white, I went with very faint light blues and greens.
Black and White or Spotted Dog- If you see one, it is supposed to be lucky
There is an old superstition that is a child rides on a bears back they would be protected from whooping cough.
Shadows- There are a lot of superstitions about shadows. There is even one that casting a headless shadow is bad. And you can't have a shadow without some kind of light be it either sunlight or starlight.
Wedding Rings- One superstitions says "Never take off your wedding ring off unless you are using it to fight a witch."
Not a superstition (that I know of)

I'm so excited! Fall Fest is my absolute favorite. Most of these have been tweaked from the designs I submitted last year. Some designs weren't touched at all because I didn't feel they needed changing.
