I'm not surprised by the fact. Everything was pretty worn down after all. I say: If you don't mind some more questions, What happened to the people? Why was it trashed?

Astraeus froze, unsure what to do as she watched the cat intently, ready to move if it got hostile. Nothing ever before had been so immediately friendly towards her, so she kept her guard up, her entire body tensing as the cat rubbed against her legs. "What do you want, cat?" She demanded, a little harshly, even though she meant no harm.

"Uh, okay." Astraeus grumbles as she grudgingly crouches down and extends a hand, her hand hovering over the cat's head. She was unsure wether the cat would let her pet it or not. Her body was still tense and untrusting towards the cat, and her mind was flickering between being nice to the cat or being cold towards it.
