Just to eliminate any alternatives, I drew your creature with really long legs like a deer. If you like the short one's better, awesome! This is just to be sure you prefer one over the other. Also, I could do normal length legs for a wolf as well.

Personality: I think it would be adorable if you could draw him with like a little thought bubble and in the thought bubble have a firebreathing winged dragon, like have them have similar poses like that's what he thinks he is. Some big scary dragon, not some dopey little foot long lizard. If you're confused I can show pictures of what I mean. But yeah, similar dragon to lizard, similar in color, just one is an actual dragon and have the lizard look dopey, or have his tongue stick out or something. He does that xD
