Northern Forests Faelora
The Faelora in the northern forests have adapted to the harsh climates there, and are often seen galloping through the sky with golden light trailing behind them. They are often used to pull sleighs for those lucky enough to tame one.
Pine Tree Draeyl
The Pine Tree Draeyl often ambushes its prey from the treetops, being perfectly camouflaged. Some storytellers say that our Christmas trees are designed from the more vibrant and colourful Draeyls of the sort. The Pine Tree Draeyl sometimes looks as if it is flaming with rage when defending its territory.
Frosty Night Bulbori
The Frosty Night Bulbori, despite its sparkling jewels, is often never seen unless it wants to be seen. In the summer when the snow that once kept it hidden thaws, rather than shedding its grey-white coat and growing a duller one to hide from possible predators, the Frosty Night Bulbori hibernates until the snow comes back. Often this is when it is caught and tamed.
Golden Ring Ferikki
The Golden Ring Ferikki is named so as it is often seen with golden rings round its legs or making up its nests. Many a rich lord or merchant has cursed this variant of Ferikki for their expertise in pickpocketing in the winter months while there is plenty around to steal.
Humbug Vulnyx
(I have a feeling this will be a popular and easy-to-accidentally-duplicate theme so sorry if I do, it is entirely coincedental. I'm running out of ideas here T^T)
What can you say? The Humbug Vylnyx has never enjoyed Christmas, and tends to hide away from the celebrations.
