You could feel Oriah's pulse pounding underneath her skin, though your medical knowledge isn't well enough to know if that's good or bad, you can tell she's probably alive. She twitched a little when she felt your touch, and opened her eyes a little.
"Dust stalkers... are very heavy..." She panted, rolling onto her back as she looked up at you. "You shouldn't... worry about me, I'll just be a little... winded for some time" She tells you, ceasing to speak so she could catch her breath a little.
"The palace sounds like a nice... place to visit..." Oriah says, taking your offer. "Not for... long though... I don't want to... abandon... everyone here" She tells you, pushing herself up so that she was sitting back on her elbows. Getting onto her knees, she plucked her fanblades off the dirt ground, clicking them back together and folding the fan. "May I have... that... red orb?" Oriah requested. "It's what I usually... use to chase... Dust stalkers away" She explains.
((Btw, want to join Galvana? Although I can't promise your level of description!))
Leto smiled and handed it back, dipping her head, "Just forthe night. Prince Oba must be informed, I will say you were a bystander that helped fight it off and that the slums is an issue that should be taken into further account" she made a gesture, "I am sure it is already in discussion with the royal council, so we will have to hand it over. It is his age and time to explore"
She gave a small smile, "And time for me to start finding a new, trustable guard for him for when I am no longer able." she looked away, towards where the people had fled, "Some homes were destroyed. Prince Oba should be heading back here soon, we should meet him midway. I will inform him so we can make refugee preparations, if he so wishes, other wise there is a risk of riot"

(I'll definitely check it out! I haven't really been joining anything because of school, but I have a week off now!)
"I'm sure your prince will be fine, it's only been about half an hour since the two of you separated" Oriah reassures you, placing the glowing orb inside of the fur trim on her coat, then moving her hand inside the fur a little longer, pulling out a cane that was illogically large to be inside the coat without being noticed.
She stood up, using the cane to help her walk in her exhausted state. "Lets get going, I want to let everyone know it's safe to return to their homes now. Oriah lead you to the town center, whistling in a certain pattern, and people began returning to the streets cautiously, smiling at you and the older woman as they walked past, a few kids running to check out the damage.
"Leto! what happened here?!" Prince Oba shouted, his voice void of anger, mostly confusion and fear as he ran over to you. "And who is this woman with you?" Qillorik demanded to know, not recognizing her from before

She offered to take off Lady Oriah's weight so the woman could walk easier rather than use a cane. She would obviously skilled at magic, knowing what she was doing and what her goals were. How strange that they all knew what her whistling meant, could it also be tainted with magic? It reminded her of a fairytale.
Prince Obas voice snapped her back to reality and she dipped her head, "This is the same woman from before, Sir. There was a Dust stalker, she fought bravely, and she has useful business to discuss with you." she hesitated, "Her best interests are shared with your own." He had no right to worry about her, she was a mere slave girl.
"Several buildings were destroyed, including her own. Some refugee points will probably need to be set up for those effected by todays happenings" she raised her head, "And, Prince Oba, please stay near me. There s a chance someone is focusing their energy on killing you."

Oba looked between you and Oriah, a little skeptical to help, but nodded. "I'll see what can be done" Qillorik tells you. "We should be heading back to the palace now, Leto, Miss..."
"Oriah" She finishes his statement for him, Prince Oba looked slightly surprised by her attitude, but ignores it and turns, expecting the two to follow. "I'm giving you a brief warning now- I know nothing about royal etiquette, I'd prefer not to interact with anyone if possible" She whispers to you, slightly leaning on you for support.

The man took your money, glaring at you, as well as several other sailors watching you closely.
"Don't worry bud, we got bandages on board... though I doubt my crew would be very happy about Sky being loose, we'll have to keep her in a cage in the cargo hold" Olix warns you

"Prince Oba.. if it causes you any trouble, simply blame it on me: I've got to be honest, your houses punishments aren't too cruel. There is much worse pain. Any punishment is better than a ruin on your reputation." she paused, "Although, having a disobedient slave is pretty reputation-breaking if you do not discipline properly, so I will not make a habit of it"
She smiled a little, trying her best to help Lady Oriah, lowering her voice, "Due to circumstance, I suspect you'll be sleeping where I usually do. It.. won't be a life you're used to, but if it's only for one night I hope it'll be okay.. I'll be doing night guard tonight anyway so it doesn't matter. A new servant around the house makes no difference, although you won't actually be a servant.." she looked carefully at Prince Oba, "Since I'm his personal slave or servant; whichever word you prefer, I do appear. The others though.. it's part of their duty to stay hidden and work around the nobles, as their sight would 'dirty' the surroundings. That's just how it is."

Oriah looked at you quizzically as you explained your status, finding the description of your work oppressing and disturbing, though she elected to keep quiet, for either her own sake or yours.
After a while longer of walking, Oriah discreetly put her cane back inside of her cloak, hoping Qillorik wouldn't notice, as she was trying to keep her skills a secret.
As you get closer to the castle, you see something flash out of the corner of your eye from an alleyway, and a few people begin stepping away in alarm as some gasping and screaming is heard from a few feet to your left. Qillorik, who was in front of you, and Oriah, who was on your right, noticed the commotion, turning to see what was happening.
You were able to notice quickly enough that someone with a long, straight dagger was charging straight for the prince, who isn't able to react in time.

Leto didn't hesitate a moment to run into an intercepting path of the attacker, placing her hands in a cross-barrier position to deflect the blow off of the skin of her arms. She would get wounded for such an action, but it was impossible not to. She would heal, anyway, due to her circumstances pain was not hard to deal with. Due to the cold sometimes getting to as low as -50, her kind had developed to have less nerves so they would feel the pain of it less and be able to push through.
((If attacker gets close - if not just ignore this))
She felt the searing pain of the dagger in her arm, but it was perfect. She lifted up her leg and placed it down on the other arms, near the elbow. She pressed down as hard as she could while holding the wrist of the attacker down, bakh nakh digging into the flesh. This way she could hopefully cause pain on the muscles or damage the bone from opposing forces.
