"Oh good. And um - yeah, heh, same. But I kinda just don't sleep well anyway," she mumbles, zipping up her pack and slinging it over her back.

Nicote nods and gets out of bed. He picks up his pack ad pulls on his boots. Might as well get an early start on the day, no sense hanging aroundandwasting time.

(Please try to make a habit to quote my post you're replying to though, just makes things easier c:)
She gives you a hesitant smile. "Well, good luck anyway," she says, slipping out the door a second later.
You frown at the room. While your bedcovers are creased hers have been expertly folded again. If you hadn't just seen her, then you wouldn't have realised anyone else had been here at all. The thought is unsettling as to who you just had as a roommate for a night.
Not wishing to waste anymore time, you head downstairs. The innkeeper is scrubbing at a mug, a bored expression on her face. She gives you a warm smile before resuming her cleaning.

"Need any help?" Nicote asks.

(Alrighty then, thanks :D)
"You helped enough last night, lad," she says cheerfully, seemingly not tired at all. "You looking for something to eat?"
You spend the last few hours of the day walking along the Adventurer's Road, the Old Forest on either side of you. A few merchants pass, but none with anything of interest. At one point you see Hippogrifs flying high overhead, but apart from that nothing much happens.
It is almost nightfall and you are about half a day from the Central territories. Exhuastion is beginning to settle in your bones, as well as the chill of the night. Being the season of Clearsky, it's about to get frosty.
I quickly set up camp, put up my tent, and gather firewood for a fire.

The Old Forest provides you with plenty of wood to start a fire with. It's not long before you have a blaze burning away brightly.
It's been a long day; you are tired and hungry, but you are at least warm and sheltered. The sounds of creatures calling out in the darkness that surrounds you isn't comforting, but most of the dangerous ones won't come close to the light and heat of your fire.

The bread ration fills you up enough for your hunger to be set aside.
You sleep fitfully throughout the night, constantly waking with every noise and then stocking up your fire while you're still feeling paranoid about something attacking you. Eventually you're so tired you sleep deeply.
In the morning, your breath clouds before you. Luckily your fire has kept you warm enough through the coldest parts of the night, but the morning air is still chilled and the day will take a while to warm up. You'd better get moving to build up your body heat.
