Poppy paused to stretch, glancing at the grassy meadow below her. She had made her way to a small, sloping hill where only a few trees stood. She sat down for a minute, to take in the sun and the wind. She loved being alone. There was no one to get mad at her, no one to annoy her, and no one to talk to but herself.

"Hey!" Dawn protested trying to get free as she held his scruff. After a while though he gave up. "Maybe, though he doesn't really smell like other wolves."

Blue walked away from her den. She found herself rather bored in the current moment and desired to do something other than wait for her pack to require her help. She left the cave in the mountain and slowly made her way to the mountains base. She began to wander aimlessly. Her eyes took in the sights around her. While she had explored this area many times, it never ceased to amaze her.

"Maybe he's from a pack we have never met before," Raindrop said, her voice mostly muffled by Dawn's fur.

after awhile they reached camp. Raindrop walked up to the medicine den and dropped off Dawn inside.

Soot finished up his rabbit and stood, hopping down from his little rock. He then padded to the entrance of the territory, set on finding something to do. Maybe he could maul up a stray Crossed Heart member. Yeah. That would cheer him up.
Poppy rose from where she had sat, stretching once again. She better get back on border patrol. Whatever had clawed Dawn up was probably gone, but it didn't hurt to check. After all, Raindrop wouldn't have let a bear or any other dangerous creature run loose without telling her.

The black wolf struggled to climb the rough rockface, panting as he managed to finally get to his den. Inside was a nice nest of pine needles and leaves along with moss. Amongst the nest was a small thin pup. She struggle to hold her head up. Whimpering some she curled around herself shivering as she did. "Don't worry pumpkin...I'll find you someone soon." The male said licking the pups face. The wound covering her eyes was hot to the touch and covered in flies. There wasn't much he could do for her though despite him trying. Sighing he took the pup up in his jaws before starting back towards the Crossed Hearts territory. This was the only change she would have to stay living.

Blaze noticed Soot walk out of camp.
He ran up him and barked
"Where you going, can I join?"

Blue swore for a moment she could hear another wolf. She quietly padded towards the noise. She saw a wolf she didnt recognize carrying a pup. Her eyes narrowed and she realized the pup was far too young to be away from its mother. She didnt want to interfere with whatever was going on. She hated the idea of getting in a fight when a little pup was at risk. She turned and began to walk away.

Soot narrowed his eyes at the pup. "No, " he growled to him. The beta had no time for pups. Not yet, anyway. If the pack ran dry one season, it would be his duty to replenish it. Until then, no pups. The black and white beta continued his walk, not caring if Blaze would follow.
Poppy made her way down the hill, deciding to go around the meadow than through it. She didn't want to ruin the flowers. Plus, this would take longer. More reason to stay out of camp, right?
