I just spent the rest of my sun things on some stuff so hopefully I'll have enough. There's a lot to take in!

I'll be continuing to plant sculptures... but not for the sole reason of getting them autocompleted for me. It takes time to get the tokens and pearls I need, especially with people chucking more and more lup catas at me all the time. Any 11th-hour sculptures on my part aren't trying to take advantage of the system. It's finally having the supplies to plant the catas I have.
I'm sure there are people who do try to take advantage of the system as you mentioned. But sometimes it's just not having enough supplies ^.^;;
Small edit to clarify: I'm not against the idea of a minimum % for the autocomplete. That actually makes sense, and I can see how it would help prevent some of the last-minute abuse of the system. Just wanted to note that there could be other reasons for last-minute cata planting.

What if there was a cutoff date for when things could be planted, and they get maybe like .5% progression per hour or something, so people who planted things by that cutoff time still had about a week to add things to it so its not like theyre cheating to have everything made overnight? I have a majestic Lup I still need to to plant and Im about to get my fundle, giving me 3 more valuable catalysts. I think that would be a reasonable compromise, but in the end it is up to you

This is how it was for me.
I have 30 sculptures going, but many of them weren't planted today, I just started running out of agents to use on them, and I felt most other people did as well, as they were rarely helped when I would post.
It also took me this long (planted my last cata today) to obtain the necessary tokens to open enough sandboxes. Part of that is due to my getting ill near the end of the festival and not being able to grind enough.
I am hoping that all of them will be completed before the end of the grace period, but it is hard to guarantee it, especially since I am practically out of agents for them.
I hadn't realized it had become the norm to wait until the end of the festival to get them autocompleted, and personally would never do that, since it makes me anxious that there might come a time that they wouldn't be.

I know I was slow to be able to build up the catas I wanted. I have been trying to get as many done as possible. Not sure for others, but this festival seemed a harder build up for me. I know it was just RNG playing with me though. I will try harder to get things earlier on.
Just a reminder, Esior's Cove and the Summer Festival Forum Games will all close tonight at midnight. The rest of the Summer Festival features will remain open through Sunday, 9/15.
Additionally, there will be an Eggling Auction scheduled for sometime this upcoming weekend. Keep an eye out for the announcement on probably Thursday or Friday.
Lastly, in regards to Sculptures being auto completed at the end of the Festival - this will be the criteria:
1. The Sculpture must exist! In other words, you have to actually start a sand box and place a Catalyst into it.
2. The Sculpture must be at least 16%(or 10% for a Majestic Catalyst) completed OR the Sculpture must have a [Prismatic Pearl].
If you have a Sculpture that matches the above criteria after Sunday, that Sculpture will be auto completed and awarded to you as is sometime in the week the following.
That does seem a bit harsh, since presumably, theres no way to determine which of the catalyst/agent hoarders are doing so because theyre waiting for you to finish their sculptures for them, and which are in that situation because they didnt have internet access for an extended period and/or havent been able to get enough supplies for one reason or another (e.g. Theyre new players.) 8/. Also, why only a Prismatic Pearl? Why not any pearl? Both the Golden & Prismatic pearls require an additional investment of coins if someone has had bad luck, as it were (i.e. mainly gets Mundane pearls from clams), and so can only obtain them by upgrading whatever type of pearl they do have.
Also, about closing the fest zone later tonight. It seems a bit early to do so, in my view, seeing as the festival started late anyway (Which I understood & had no problem with, mind.). Maybe not keep it open for the rest of the week, but an extra two or three days? Just a thought :]. *Shrugs*

Just one question about the tokens. What about those who earned extra tokens legitimately, through nurture or fest zone grinding. I already finished all my sculptures for this year so don't want to throw them at sculpting supplies that I wont be using, especially as it was stated that hording of supplies is a problem. Most of my coins came from nurturing all my project pet babies trying to earn scales to buy the pet dyes I need, and doing my festival boss runs for the avatar items they drop. I usually spend my extra tokens on avatar items in the fest shop but there were none this year so I literally have nothing to spend them on. Any Ideas on how to use them up so the problem of extra tokens is not such a problem? (Fall fest usually has the haunted house that I can throw my extra tokens at so that's helpful for fall.) Maybe you could add some other ordinary items to fest shops next year. Like some extra traps or elixers that players could always use more of both during festivals and when its not festival time. I can always use more elixers for my festival boss runs. Or maybe have a way to exchange them for other things we need like scales or other ordinary stuff, (Obviously not diamond shop items I am not looking for freebies, just a way to get rid of the extra scales earned from my hard work during the festivals.)

The numbers are defiantly shocking to me, I honestly didn't know that many people abused the system. I think that the conditions for auto-completion should defiantly be stricter, perhaps to help prevent this. I personally never have the time to grind for the money to buy extra sandboxes so having the auto complete is nice for me when I have just enough time and resources to plant them. I think the restrictions are fine, that type of system abuse should be cut back as much as it can, I dare say that they should be stricter.
Just my opinion as a one man peanut gallery,
