I feel like the female's expression is very bland... Maybe a slightly annoyed face would be nice? Maybe show the tails more too? They are hidden and it brings back Lupora revamp memories.

One of the biggest things that's tossing me off is the fact the male has two front fingers and the female has 4....sooo

ohmygoodness the babies finally are good encapsulations of how floofy th adults are gonna be. soft babies. i love them. and the females arent sitting like cats theyre sitting like bird!

They're so cute! I do almost wish that the tails on the babied looked more like feathers because of the adults but idk if that would look good. Otherwise, they are perfect! ^^

alot of ppl say they look better but tbh i really dont like them. i think they look way better now than the skeches.
new make looks ok (but i still like the current one better) i think his feet could be improved. if they were bigger, claws maybe sharper, spread a but further hed look more agressive/powerful then this tiptoe thing going on. ie this pic of hawk claws
females wing/tail look way to long and the way they line up on tips in a V shape is unnaturall looking.
the baby's are def my least fav. they look more like some funny dolphin-hedgehog fuzz thing and not bird like at all. they make me verry.. uncomfortable. some sort of neck/chest might help. males legs should be longer i think, or the feet should be bigger (rn their literally smaller then the eyes )

Okay, now that I'm more awake and have looked at them longer... my response is still "no please not that not my children"
I've loved nytes since the first time I saw them before I even made my starter (I was disappointed to discover that I couldn't have a nyte as my starter in fact), the first pet I ever caught, on my first day playing, was a nyte, I've spent two and a half years on nyte projects, and both my main levelled-and-ranked teams are nytes...
and I just... Don't like these.
Like. Enough that I need to take a breather to settle enough to not cry a bit.



The baby male is mostly okay, though his feet and hands are... tiny (as I'm sure anyone can tell you, baby animals tend to need to grow into their feet) but aside from him I just. No.
The tail feathers are also fine I suppose, and I appreciate them keeping the dimorphic difference in the 'ear'/'eyebrow'/'crest?' feathers (with the male's being 'serrated', and the female's sleek with the notchy bit at the tip.)
(the male's always made us think of the King of Saxony Bird of Paradise


The limbs are all pretty scrawny, the feather layering is wrong.

(personally, I've wondered if nyte arms could be a bit like some kind of a mix between baby hoatzin, pterosaur, and koala- bird with two thumbs that has some wrist similarity to a pterosaur and using those thumbs for walking

Nytes currently have a neck, I'm not sure where this sketch's female has put hers.
Neck feathers should probably be smoother?

Fimbry, I just saw your comments, that makes a lot of sense! Im just wondering if we could bump the males tail a bit to the left? It would put a little white space between the tail puff and the ear feather things, and maybe even suggest more motion in his pose (with a bit of a curl maybe)
