Opal is the birthstone of October, and black opals look pretty darn spooky, so it's a spooky two-for-one deal!

Grave Site


This is inspired by an old graveyard that on my grandparents property. Its probably over a hundred years old and has this very somber/creepy feeling since its in the middle of the woods. Occasionally I would see little red flowers growing amongst the graves.

Werecrature/Lycanthrope Warrior


I've always lowkey loved lycans and though werewolves are the most common werecreature in lore other types have been used before, I personally love the idea of the werelynx.
An interesting note is that some also see werewolves and lycans as two different supernatural creatures while others see them as the same so it likely depends on the where the lore came from and who you ask.

Inspired by plague doctors and skeletons, as well as the fact purple is seen as a Halloween color, mixed with black. I had no image as inspiration, just those ideas gave me this idea.

Inspiration:

Honestly, I just got a random thought along the lines of 'What if a Phoenix became corrupted? How would that work out?' Answer: Clearly not well. I used the leaves and turned them a grayish-black to serve as ash that got stuck between the feathers, Marbled tips to add a more phoenixian look to the birds, and the Imperial Dragon Gene to accent ash-tipped feathers.

If this somehow wins, I don't have a favorite, so whichever one I get is whichever one I get.
