My inspiration is dried and frosted poppies. They're usually used to decorate a wreath, to provide some contrast to the bright red and greens of holly and pine. In some cultures poppy wreaths are used signify remembrance of the harshness of winter and to be grateful for your good fortunes till spring arrives.
