Lunara had stayed ffaaaaaarrrrrr away from the chaos. She'd seen some of it before. When the barkboi ran by she was definitely sure she didn't want to know what was happening and what the idiot who'd practically abandoned her was doing.
She started picking her way through the plaza, away from the park. Anywhere but there.

She mentaly scolded herself at the slip up, she wasn't realy used to have discutions with strangers and the very few people that knew her were also close enough to know of her hability so talking about it was normal for her.

She saw him relax. Good, lure him into a false security. "Yeah, but it's stupid. Hurting people in public." She shrugged her shoulders, trying to look as causal as possible, despite every instinct going towards inflicting pain of some kind, whether it be physical or marked fueled.. "Another thing that never quite got to me is why people fear those who are marked. Monte makes sure he doesn't hurt people with his ability." She specifically left out what his ability is. She also made a mental note that she needed to write in her journal about the knife thing.

Yuuko had conveniently left his own mark over his wrist in plain view to her.
Police associations or not, he never felt the need to hide it from anyone. To most, he was already a rat and to work for the police against his own?
It almost humored him how much people hated him sometimes.
"Not the person to ask. Let me know when you find the person who is."
He started off again, hungry, and not wanting to waste more of his time on small talk. He didn't like the look she was giving him either. He could tell when someone was trying to con him.

"I wonder why it did, then," Liam said, trying to compress his jitters. He didn't plan on going anywhere soon, but still thought that this all was a bit awkward. "So um, who's your friend? Are they sensitive to pressure changes, like mine? Or a weatherperson?" He felt a twinge of nostalgia, thinking of his friend Elliott back in America. She always got pounding headaches and became grumpier than usual whenever storms were coming.

She tensed up a bit at the questions, she coudn't realy tell him what kelpie was but she realy didn't had the time to prepare a belivable lie neather so she went with informations that woudn't be too suspicious. She had finally made her way to the plaza, using her vines to bring herself onto a nearby roof. Rei overlooked the plaza, scouting for any members of her gang that might have stayed behind, and making sure that no cops were causing them issues. She did her best to stay quiet and hidden, moving from roof to roof.
