Cillian didn't have a response to that and didn't feel like thinking one up, so instead he shoved open the door with his shoulder and walked in without holding it open for Orion.

Orion sighed, and just to rub it in Cillian's face, he went back into ghost form and floated through the door. Since he didn't really feel like keeping up a conversation or walking he kinda just hovered there because Orion always thought turning back into a human was way too much work and concentration.

She tried so hard not to laugh. She covered her mouth, nearly spitting out her mouthful of breakfast. It was extremely difficult for her not to laugh, the tears pricking her eyes clear evidence of this.

Cillian was tempted to shout that there was an annoying invisible ghost behind him, but decided that would probably be pushing his limits of social contact. He sat down at a random table and stared at the menu, looking for something that would probably not suffocate him if he managed to faceplant in it as well.

Tess gave a not-very-delicate snort, and took a closer look at the listing of the cinnamon roll, examining it as if there was a fine print of it being poisoned or something.
