Soterra made her way into the kingdom center, looking around buildings here and there as she walked. Her attention fell to Yz who had been pecking at the ground near a man's feet and flicking his wings at him to get his attention.

Archon sighed and shook his head, taking a bit of bird seed from his pockets and throwing it out in the street to the pigeon. "Apologize for that, sir. Seems he's gotten a bit sidetracked."

(the man=casey?)

"Oh he's your pigeon?" The man looked up, smiling sheepishly and adjusting his glasses. "He is quite pretty!" he commented.

"..Something like that." Archon shrugged, letting the bird eat. "Mostly though, he makes himself a lot of trouble, always trying to drag me into things." He laughed, studying the man's face according to Cypress' description.
"Oh, er. Sorry, I do not believe I got your name, sir. My name is Archon. Nice to meet you."

"Ah no need for the formalities-- Archon-- my name is Casey." 'Casey' replied, holding out his hand. Cypress, who had been momentarily distracted by Ruskars sights, startled. Not that the auburn haired man noticed, infact he didn't seem to notice that Archon was with a group.

"Ah-ha-HA. So he isn't just being a fickle half-brain this time.." Archon shook his hand, giving him a gracious bow of the head.

"Your presence was being sought after by one of my most humble companions." He let go of his hand after a moment and gestured back at Cypress somewhat dramatically with a twirl of his hand and another bow.
He flinched as the pigeon flew back onto his arm, digging its talons in hard on his robes.

"..easy, easy.. just a joke.." He muttered to the bird through grit teeth as it seemed to stare menacingly back at him before preening itself innocently.

Soterra stared at Casey blankly for a moment before she felt a familiar annoyance creeping into her thoughts. She tried to shut him out, just to catch a laugh out of the watching death god.
'..Honestly, just what I'd expect from him.. Gone and disguised himself as a pigeon. And here I thought he had a nice, long vacation to another parallel realm in the works.
No, no.. That couldn't be it, he normally wouldn't bother with the realm of mortals at all..'

'What?' Soterra furrowed her brow, trying to grasp any meaning out of the god's words.

'Oh? Nothing, nothing.. I'd just watch your two companions very closely, my dear agent of demise. One of them doesn't seem particularly of this world. Harmless and jovial, maybe.. But to turn his newfound power on his own patron is very bizarre.. Trust nothing he says and I'm sure you'll remain well under my protection.'

Soterra blinked, even more confused. Pigeon?
She stared at the pigeon for a moment before shaking her head and stepping over to Casey before she let Umbris manage to distract her with his ramblings again.
"Nice to meet you, I think you're the one Cypress mentioned.. I am Soterra."

Casey gave Soterra a distracted smile, out of politeness, before fully focusing on Cypress. The human seemed undecided for a moment, eyebrows furrowed, before a glint of recognition gleamed in his eyes, bright smile lighting up his face as he clapped his hands together excitedly. "Oh gosh, I never thought I'd see you again! ..wait hadn't I been sending letters to you...? Ah I forgot! Its been yearrs too--agh I'm sorry. But hey you grew your hair out!" Casey chattered.


"I...yeah." Cypress said, seeming a little uncomfortable. He quickly picked back up though. "It's good to see your still here in Ruskar though."

Honestly the pigeon was supposed to be a joke but my sleep deprived brain got a better, more hilarious idea)

"You with short hair.. Huh.. Never thought I'd see that." She elbowed Cypress playfully.
"How long have you two even known each other?"

Archon smiled at the two as he finally managed to unhook the pigeon's talons from his shoulder and tucked its beak into his robes to muffle it as it begun hissing something at him in some odd language. ".. apologies, sir." He whispered to it under his breath in a vain attempt to pacify the bird.

(yes. the pigeon is a *god*.)


The vampire just grunted, while Casey spoke up. "Hmm I mean technically we don't really know eachother." He said with a smal smile. "We've only met one other time." The chatterbox didnt elaborate, instead curiously looking over his shoulder at the bustling plaza. It kind of seemed like he was looking for someone.


Meanwhile Cypress stared at Archon, trying to decide if the dude was finally going go strangle the evil bird or not.
