The Rare pets from the Festival zone are the themed pets right? I have already encounters 2 and the task is still marked 0/1. Also I didn't get strong snare traps (x3)

Just to clarify, when you run into a theme, it will say 'You have encountered a Rare Enemy'. In the actual battle, the name of the pet will be the theme.

Rare pets (blue star pets) are not necessarily themed, but many themes ARE blue star rare. Non-themed pets will show up as the standard you have encountered an enemy message.

Don't know if this is your issue, but just wanted to clarify this in case you were confused.

So uh.... can we get a confirmation that the items that weren't added as drops last year are definitely available from the retired box this year? Please and thank you. :)

They should be now, yes. They always should have, regardless. But this specific issue was applying specifically to the 2019 Fall Festival items as they were the first batch to switch over to the new system. It would have kept applying for future batches (2019 Winter, 2020 Week of Love, etc) if I hadn't of fixed it.

Edit: To add, the Retired Boxes pull automatically from the database for their corresponding categories. I don't have to manually add them or anything, it just automatically dishes out the correct items based on the box and the current year.

It was brought to my attention that the Retired Avatar Boxes were not awarding prizes as advertised. After investigating, it looks like I did not switch over Retired Avatar Boxes to use the newer categorization code that the Wardrobe upgrade a year ago brought about. (I am sure this sentence made a lot of sense)

Basically, when we released the new Wardrobe last fall, I switched how items are categorized in the Database. This switch over happened just prior to the 2019 Fall Festival. From the 2019 Fall Festival and onwards, new items have exclusively used this newer system whereas items prior are categorized for both the old and newer system.

Retired Avatar Boxes were never updated - they were still using solely the old system. Meaning, they would have never awarded any items that exclusively were using the new system - in other words, they had a 0% chance of awarding 2019 Fall Festival Items.

This should now be fixed moving forward.

Since I assume a lot of players purchased Retired Avatar Boxes with the hopes of getting 2019 items, I decided to reimburse some boxes to players. The 2019 items account for about ~16% of the Retired Avatar Item Pool for Fall Festival, so I decided to use the following criteria:

-If you purchased at least 5 Retired Fall Festival Avatar Item Boxes, you received one complimentary Box.
-For every additional 6 Retired Fall Festival Avatar Item Boxes you purchased, you received an additional complimentary Box.

This applied to both purchases with Diamonds or Chocolate Coins - your total was just the two methods combined.

These complimentary boxes were sent to players via their Trades.

Additional Note: It seems that my original fix was then causing boxes to award non Avatar Item rewards. This issue has now also been fixed. If you opened a Box and received a non Avatar Item reward, please send me a PM with how many incorrect rewards you got and I will fix.

For the compensation, I had just looked at ones individually purchased directly from the Festival Shop or from the Diamond Shop.

Hey Krin! Sorry to bother, but can other people complete brews?
(I took a long break and didn't add everything I wanted, so I had to ask)

Sorry if this was just my ignorance! Thank you for your time! :)

Mantaray,

If this has already been answered I'm sorry.

You can get new Sylestis via catching them with traps, finding abandoned eggs/baby Sylestis, or buying them from other users. :))
