the creature:

i leave the small creatures in the towel nest, going back to hunting. as i search the forest, however, i hear someone entering. a woman with a cat, riding a grey dappled horse. i growl, they're loud. too loud. and in my forest.

following them for a few minutes i get in position, launching past them so fast they can't even see me. the horse spooks, throwing it's rider and dashing back home as i watch from my hiding place, waiting.

Ella groaned rubbing her head and turning to elliot who hissed as the horse ran away "stupid horse" ella mumbled picking him up and kept walking silently her wrist was sprained badly but she managed to hold back tears

Vitalus sighed and begins to think, "This is strange and it happen while you were helping someone?" Vitalus said and shakes his head, "Thank you for bring this to me but I think the reaper took the eggs because they are probability not the right eggs from your chickens,"

the creature

the woman carries on, either incredibly stupid or incredibly brave. maybe both. the woman only walks for a few more minutes before the cat spots me, fur puffing up as it slowly backs away, tail lashing. it darts, heading back the way it came. the woman is clearly spooked, looking around for what could have spooked her animals. she doesn't spot me, but she knows something is here with her.

"no way, i saw the chickens lay them. and why would it want eggs? wasn't the two offerings i made enough?" i argue, pacing. "we need to do something. it could be the reaper, yes, but why? things will only get worse!"

This now angered her "I'ma let him starve for a week....no no a month! Yeah stupid animals I swear I can't believe I got into this business, oh and I'ma make him sleep outside like the rest" she vented until she felt weird but didn't care she wanted her foxes back she walked to an off trail and to her surpris she found them all curled up, she picked them up and started heading back

the creature

while the woman finds the foxes i let out, i lay a dead crow in the path in front of her, arranging it belly up with it's wings spread wide as if in flight. then, i retreat back into the woods and underbrush, watching as she comes up the trail again.

Vitalus sighed, "I don't know but yes we do need to do something," Vitalus said.

She looks at it and thought maybe it fell from a nest and moved it into the bushes with her foot and kept walking silently "I'm locking all my animals away" she insisted on that, elliot was waiting at the edge of the forest for her licking his paws when she came into view he knew he messed up

"i say, we go into the forest. whatever is going on, that's where we will find answers" i declare "if we get a team with horses and weapons, we can go into the forest and find out what's happening"
