Although I think Krin stated in Gen chat yesterday that he is aiming for overnight into Thursday morning. Not sure if there will be an official statement yet, as there isn't a time set still. I do think he is aiming to get it done before WoL.

Traits are determined as soon as a pet is created. So it won't matter if they are an Eggling or an Adult.
