"I don't know what you're talking about." Lyresong said, casually. She padded over to a shaded area and stretched. To any onlooker, it would appear as if she genuinely didn't know anything, but they both knew she was lying.
Pepperpaw decides to go out of the camp alone, and practice her flying. She goes over what her sister and mentor taught her, and jumps into the air, taking flight for the first time. She soars high above the trees, seeing new things, and smelling new scents. She soon realizes that flying isn't as easy as it looks, and crashes into a nearby bush.
"Owww...." She groans, standing up. After shaking the leaves and twigs off of her, Pepperpaw takes a look around, realizing she has no idea where she is.
Vesp watched as the small cat crash landed into a bush. He figured it was none of his business, a mysterious cat falling out of the sky. Yep, not something he wanted any part of.
However, as the sky darkened, nearing sunset, Vesp figured it couldn't hurt to make sure this kitten was safe.
He quietly padded over to her, the cat was completely unaware of his presence. Vesp took a look at her, making sure she was alright, noticing that one of her wings wasn't bending how it should.
"Oww-" Pepperpaw hissed as she tried moving her left wing. It had bent, but wasn't broken, she knew that much. It was probably just a sprain. However, considering that she was lost, and her wing was injured, this became a bit of a problem.
Making his presence known, Vesp called out to the young cat.
"Are you alright?" He asked, casuing the kitten to jump.
"N-no, my wing- Who are you?" She asked, watching cautiously as Vesp approached her.
"My name is Vesp, and you?" He asked, his leather wings flapped gently.
"Pepperpaw."
