Hornet snorts. "Anywhere but the Central territories from now on into the forseeable future."
Farstride glares at him, kicking his shins to get him to shut up. "We don't talk about that... stuff. Besides, Delilah, with her seemingly small act, has delayed any further developments of that kind for a good while." She smiles at you appreciatively as she says this.
"But in any case," she continues, tilting her head to the side. "Such a talent like you would be wasted by just 'wandering around'. However, Hornet and myself - as well as a few companions of ours - will be doing something... similar, in a way. You have a skillset that would prove to be useful."
An expression of frustration appears on Hornet's face, and he motions to Farstride furiously. She returns with a gesture even you understand, and a vulgar one at that.
"Well, certainly if you were looking for an adventure with more purpose than simply wandering, we could use with another Centaur with a warm personality, unlike some people I can think of."
Hornet huffs, turning his outraged gaze elsewhere.
Delirious hums quietly to herself and stays quiet for several seconds, considering the offer. She ultimately decides that it would be best for her to stay by herself and just wander about until she can get good enough at what she does to join up with a group. She'd never wish to be a burden upon anyone.
"Thank you for the kind offer miss, but I do believe that your friend would prefer if I didn't take you up on it. Maybe we'll meet again one day?"

You don't have a knife in your inventory. The only weapon you have is a staff - but if you wanted, you could use your small hatchet or your small pick. However both are tools and will be less efficient.

He lands behind a clump of thick grass, crouching while you move away to to person.
As you near, you are aware of how tall this creature is. You could go for diplomacy or violence in order to borrow or steal their torch - the warm source of fire crackling and burning in the night air.

"But if you think that is the best path to take, then so be it. I will not force you to join us," she smiles warmly. "And yes, I think we shall meet again some day." Her smile turns into a cheeky grin. "But just so you know who you're dealing with, you've earned the favour of the Golden Sunrise clan."

"May your road be a safe one," Hornet nods to you, stepping away but stopping to wait for Farstride. "Come on. If we wait around much longer we might be discovered."
Farstride nods to you too. "And a happy road at that. Farewell, Delilah," she says, trotting after Hornet. They both disappear into the crowds a few seconds later.

It's quite chilly, but not as much so as other nights.
You wander the streets aimlessly, and after a while a short downpour starts. It only lasts a few minutes, but you're pretty drenched anyway. Your hood doesn't do much against it.
Sometime afterwards you find yourself passing a slightly-less-than-sober looking Dwarf.
"Nice hair mate," he croaks, letting out a guffaw a few moments later. "First a blummin' massive lizard," - he hics - "now a kid with the weirdest hair you ever saw."
