Lowell
When he finished, Lowell was relieved that things had gone so relatively smoothly. Her soul had been returned, intact, and surprisingly not devoured on the spot.

He knew, of course, that the demon.. no.. Sairel.. had only chosen to assist out of his own personal preservation and to have the Empress in his debt. He was surprised to find that his beastial companion had a name, but it and her 'debt' was something he'd need to sort out details on later.
At least he didn't need to worry about the demon leaving bloody messages on her palace walls or devouring the guardsmen for the time being. Sairel almost seemed.. reasonable for once, sated by the influx of dark magic to feed on to quell his ever present bloodlust.

He checked to make sure the Empress was still alive before turning to Gallagher and returning his hands back to normal.
"It's done."

He nodded, looking over at her with a hopeful look in his eyes as she turned her head a bit and groaned softly. It was a sign that she was okay, not to mention he didn't sense any more dark magic leaking out of her, nor any dark presence. Besides his own and Lowell's.

Lowell
Lowell stepped away, trying to hold back a smile as he noted the signs of awareness from the Empress.
"You're alive. It is good to see."

She slowly sat up, rubbing her eyes open. "...Right...what happened? "

Lowell
"I think it's best to let Gallagher explain things considering he was the one to save your life in the first place, your Majesty."

She looked from Lowell to Gallagher. " Then, what happened? "

Gallagher glanced at Lowell then gave Seraphina a run-down of everything that had happened.

Giselle
Giselle finally managed to push her way back into the room now that Gallagher had been distracted recalling the day's events to the Empress. She would have been annoyed with the two for keeping her out had she not seen the Empress alive and well.
"I don't know what you two did.. but.. Your Majesty, it's good to see you survived. I was worried that-"

Lowell
Lowell was stern, cutting Giselle off.
"You are aware that her Majesty's state was never your fault, Giselle. I won't hear any more of it."

Giselle
"..Lowe.." She sighed. "No, no.. You're right. I just can't help it, big guy. You know that."

" My injury is no one's fault besides mine. " She said. " No one here-Not even you, Gallagher,- should think that it was theirs. "

Lowell
"Especially you, Gallagher. If you had not acted as quickly as you had, I doubt any of us would have survived. You know we all are in your debt."

"...I was just following my instincts. " He said.
