I ran and grabbed one of the metal strips and slunk that direction

As you reached the alleyway another shoot like noise boomed through the air and Minks landed on her back at the end of the alleyway. She did not look necessarily hurt, but she had not seen or heard you yet, and Got back to her feet and wiped her mouth with her sleeve before holding her hand up in the shape of a gun like she had earlier that day the cool air now swirling with a sharp heat rippling the airwaves and your's and Minks' Hair. Then it was clear what the noise was as a Burst of heat and light practically exploded from Minks finger, but it was not controlled like earlier and sent her tumbling a few yards back.

He relaxed a bit,"Minks?" he asked trying to not spook her

" Yeah.." she responded pushing herself up
