(Relax, it's okay - good to know my narrarating is immersive, but you don't need to feel bad c: Just a story)
"Yes, yes it's okay. What's more important is: are you alright?" he asks, worry in his voice. He helps you clamber onto his back as the roars of the Orc get quieter.

(Sometimes I forget :P)
"I... I think so," I gasp, still feeling shaky from the adrenaline. "My hands are kind of burned but otherwise I'm fine."

(Stories are funny that way. That's why I kinda like roleplaying - then you're creating a story with other people. Always loads of fun ^.^)
"You're shivering," Skywhisper notes. "We'd better get that fire set up."
He seems to have mistaken that you're shaking because of the adrenaline - but no matter. The cold is setting in, feeling even worse in your raw fingers. It's not too bad - just sensitive just now.
He swoops down a far distance away from the Orc, flying on a little just over the ground and then changing direction, before landing at the base of a large hill.

I get off and hold up the torch. "Do we need rocks or something or will just holding this work?"
You thud ungracefully to the ground in the shade of a large tree, surrounded by long grass and wildflowers. You're in agony - not enough to be immobile, but enough to seriously hinder your ability to travel elsewhere very well.
Well. After dealing with all of that, you're feeling a lot more able to venture out into the world
Delirious stands up slowly brushing any dirt off of herself if any had gotten onto her at all. Looking around slowly she decides to head in whatever direction was opposite from the Centaurs' town. She hoped to eventually come across a river or body of water, but for now, she just wished to wander about. Looking for anything that may be interesting.

Channeling into your magic feels a little more odd than last time - like you aren't as constricted as you were before. It must have been the practice.
Just as you are a few metres away from it, its head perks up and its ears twitch. It hasn't seen you yet - it must have heard you.

Knight cocks his head to the side - some guilt still lingers in his eyes, but he still slides one of the objects from his harness with the fingers on the tips of his wings, handing it to you.
In the dim light, you still can't see exactly what it is. But it's wet and slippery, with the slight feel of small scales.

"You could just stick one end in the ground, I suppose. It must be coated in something flammable, if it's been burning this long," Skywhisper says, examining it.
