"Hello?" I call. "Any monsters out there who want to eat me?" I listen for any perculiar sounds.

The only sound was that of your own heart beating and the bats flying above you.

"I wonder where Riley is?" I say to no one in particular. "Hopefully he's not dead..." I continue walking through the hall-like cave thingy.

"I don't think that that is a healthy life style." Sophia notes, skipping down the path. All of a sudden, the floor disappears beneath her, and she goes tumbling into a raging underground river. This triggers another trap, and a spear shoots out, impaling itself in the wall next to you. "Help!" Sophia cries as she struggles to fight against the current and keep her head above the water. She tries to grab the edge and pull herself out, but her wet hands slip and she is fighting the current again.

Your voice echoes back to you.
The path splits in front of you.
Right - sounds of a fight
Left - silent as the grave

"I bet Riley's getting himself killed again." I turn towards the right.

Riley was there fighting... Um... Himself? One Riley would be the real Riley and the other would be an imposter.
Both Riley's had somehow gotten himself a sword to use - one that wasn't an illusion. They were matching blow for blow. That us, until one of them manages to dodge the others blow and slash at the one's stomach. That Riley stumbles backwards, "I'm warning you, I'm not going down." That one sounded like Riley.
The other one had a strange hiss to their voice, "Neither am I."

"I'm gone for a few minutes and you manage to get yourself in a fight with... yourself." I keep my eyes trained on the Riley with the hiss so as to remember which one is real. "Need help?"

"I'd love that." Both say at the same time. The real Riley glares at the fake one and tries to stab them with his sword. The fake Riley easily deflects the blow and returns his own which Riley wasn't able to deflect in time.
The real Riley leans against the wall, putting a hand to his new wound to try and stop it from bleeding. He keeps the fake Riley at sword point, the sword trembling even as he tries to keep it still.

Innocencio tries to get as close as possible before reaching out a hand. "I'm trying!" He yells back. Tryign not to slip in himself. Yknow, fire USSR and all.

And hen remembers a little something-he does have that spirit guide (did I writ that write)
