You all finish breakfast and the girl perks up "So I'm gonna go get in touch with the other two people I was telling you about earlier. It'll take me about a half hour at the least so find a way to distract yourself" she told you and hopped off her chair and ran out of the room
She nodded and said *thanks* before making sure she seemed to be gone
You feel fine and don't see any bleeding or broken limbs. You hear a cruel laugh coming ahead of you
I look up, wondering who the laugh is emanating from, hoping I'm not somewhere I shouldn't be, wherever 'somewhere' may be.

You see a woman sitting on a burning iron throne, she smiles at you as she laughs. Her eyes are sharp and calculating though, and don't seem to share the mirth of the laugh. She beckons you closer with a curled finger.

She turned attention back to the trap door and pulled out the clip

I look at her, wondering what on earth she wants, who she is, and how much she knows about how I arrived, cautiously stepping closer, step by step. (while trying to remain a safe distance)

I wince at her biting tone, then step closer, trying to stay aware of my surroundings.
