Goldshinx, all you have to do to join Vibrant Vorpas! is (1) ask to join and (2) follow all of our rules, which are in the second post of this thread, under where it says "The Rules." I've added you to the membership list.

To Goldshinx and also Analieza, please feel free to make an introductory post about yourself, your Sylvorpas, Sylvorpas you want to get, your Sylvorpa ideas, etc. Analieza, sorry but I forgot to mention that to you when I added you--blame the migraine leftovers.

Starline, I located your Seagrass Mutation drawing in the contest thread. I was afraid it would be too similar to Encroaching Seaweed, but it would actually complement Encroaching Seaweed. Therefore, I suggest that it ought to be in the Mutation 2 slot, since the seagrass streamers occupy the same general area that wings would. Plus a Vorpa could then have both Encroaching Seaweed and Seagrass, which would look cool.

To all the newer members, the "Statsong Project" needs some explanation. This group is attempting to breed some high-stat (maybe even max stat!) Purebred Sunsong Gazania Sylvorpas. SparklingGanymede is the head of the project; I am Spark's assistant, temporarily running things since Spark won't be able to be in Sylestia much until mid-May. If you want to assist the project, you can make sure to Nurture any Statsong eggs/Hatchlings posted to this thread. Eventually, we will need some more Philters, but right now Nurturing is the thing to do.

That's alright! Normally, for colors and genes/mutations, you should have the same or similar color or a gene mutation in the same slot :) Otherwise, it's chancy that you'll get what you want :D

Ahh thank you for explaining what the Sunsong Gazania project was, I was kind of confused, I haven't really been playing a whole lot latley.
I don't really have any interesting vorpas right now, though I am breeding a few SugarPlum ones. I wanted to ask if you could use this guy Orange Tiedye to help with the max stat sunsong project. I bought him from nightbanewolf a bit ago without thinking and I never found any thing to do with him.

Also, since the project is trying to get max stats, I was wondering what are the max stats? If that even makes any sense...

The question makes perfect sense, Luxaea. Here is a max stat pet, my boy Piccolo--



As you can see, if I stripped him of all his equipment . . . well, first of all, he'd be embarrassed. But even then his Health would be 2000 and each of his other stats would be 100. Those are as high as the stats can go. So we are hoping to breed Sunsong Gazania Sylvorpas with Health 2000 and all other stats at 100.

As for adding your Orange Tiedye's traits to the project, check with Spark (SparklingGanymede), who is in charge of that aspect of the project. I know Spark has a definite plan in mind for the trait combo, and some optional combos, but I am not exactly sure what it is (I was asked to add Lotus Lights to the project, so I did, but I think that's for an alternate combo, not the main one).
