I just wanted to let you know that today is deadline day!. I have completed all updates to the Entries Thus Far Post for the moment. I will update it again after the deadline has past. So Sunny, if no one else posts you will be in regardless just because it isn't fair to hold not having a critiquer against you. But I want to give the 2 that haven't submitted a chance to submit first.

Otherwise, everyone else...If you want to take the time to edit and touch up your alterations or submit new designs by all means do so now. You have until 5pm CST to complete them. Just remember to PING me so I don't miss your changes and or additions.

"Fright Fest" Challenge

(Be sure to READ EVERYTHING!)

That's a wrap folks on this week's challenge. For all of you that participated, you did an amazing job! You presented some respectable designs that gave chills and thrills. Outstanding work done by you all! For those that did not participate and or state you were opting out. Hopefully we will see you next week. And as a friendly reminder to all..Communication is important. Even if it is a quick, hey I can't do it this week I am opting out. Or critiquing a design giving the highs and lows of a design. Without that communication. Without that respect and common decency to help your fellow designers out there, we really don't have anything at all. Because this group is meant to help each other grow. To work not only on designs but our very own communication skills...And some of you are wonderful about it. I seriously thank you for it. Then there are some of you whom still seriously need to step it up a bit. And that is why I hope we see you next week.

Also, another reminder folks. November 10th is the MANDATORY Challenge! That means everyone that is in the group is REQUIRED to participate. It isn't something I request nor require of you often, but when I do I expect to see each of you that week submit a design. And believe me, I will make it worth your while in prizes. All 3 top placers will be receiving a sizable gold amount, and an avi item and or possible pet. I am not talking about 25K or 50k. I am talking in the 100k(s) for certain places. I make it worth the time and effort you put into it. Just remember though, these kind of challenges though rare are a bit more tricky. You only get one shot to get your designs right. But more about that later...

@Red...I really loved how well done your design's origin story was. Not only that but after reading it thoroughly, you can see it come to life with your avatar design. @Picle...These 3 are my top favorites from your design post. There were 2 other well done pieces, but the ones presented here are the ones that spoke to me the most from what you brought to the table. And though we had a bit of a shake up on the way to the finish line, you really really pulled through. Amazing work. Please send me a COD of 15k.

@Sunny...You did an amazing job not only with your wonderful critique, but that design as well. It is very frightening and fitting for the swamp. Because if you honestly think about it, we don't really know all that is out there yet to be discovered especially in a swamp. You stepped it up a notch, and did really well this week. Outstanding performance! Keep up the awesome work!

"Night At The Movies" Challenge
(No size requirement for this challenge)

This week folks, you will be tasked with the challenge to come up with a pet and or avatar design on a movie you have seen, love, enjoy, and or are eager to see. There are a few catches though, so be sure to follow all the requirements and rules for this challenge listed out for you below. If you need assistance and or want to opt out be sure to let us know and or contact me privately. For now though...Let's go to the movies!

Those Choosing To Opt Out This Week: Red, Bunny, Sunny, Picle

~ REQUIREMENTS ~

1.) You must create a pet and or avatar design based off a movie you have seen, loved, enjoyed, and or are eager to see. If you have multiple movie ideas, remember to keep them all to one post!
2.) Each design must have a reference picture, and at least 2 to 3 og your favorite lines from that movie. Though more is preferred.
*3.) (Only the very 1st poster of a challenge is excused from this requirement.) Be sure to include within your design post your critique for the designer that posted before you whom besides myself you must also PING when posting. Your critique MUST be of their 1st DESIGN ONLY, as well as a bare minimum of 3 to 4 sentences in length! Explain what they can improve on, as well as what you liked about their design. Please provide a reference picture to what you are referring to, so the designer you are critiquing better understands what you are trying to convey. With that in mind, DO NOT by any means leave a fellow designer hanging and waiting on you as that is just rude, and inconsiderate.
*4.) (ALL MUST COMPLY WITH THIS ONE)You must recreate your original design, but remember to incorporate some of the suggestions made to you by your design critiquer. That is why it is important to stay on top of any PINGs and or critiques made to you!! Take that new design, and place it NEXT TO your original design so that we may see the changes you made.
Remember, without this your design post is viewed as incomplete. Failure to follow this, especially after contacted and given enough time to follow through with this will be seen as a blatant disregard for this requirement!


~ RULES/GUIDELINES ~

1.) All core group rules apply!
2.) Before you post your design, make sure you have your critique ready along with your design for the person that came before you. That includes the reference design of the piece you are critiquing, that showcases the improvements you are referencing.
3.)Do not place hold for your design post by saying W.I.P...Only post a design once you have the start of it ready including your critique piece, or when are opting out.
