Daniel looked at her, slightly confused. Could Monika read minds? Why was she crying? He blinked away the last few tears that stung his eyes and stood up. "Did I upset you? I'm sorry, I didn't mean to- I just- ugh this is awkward." He clenched his fists, wisps of flames licking around them. He immediately relaxed his hands. 'Oh gee, got to make sure that doesn't mess anything up until I learn what I can do with it,' he thought, concentrating on Monika and not his powers.

She looked at Daniel. He was rather handsome, natural handsome, not like the other people from her world. An inner urge told her to kiss him.
I shouldn't she thought to herself. Is this how my 'original code' felt towards the people? A lust for love? She blushed harder, dropping her eyes to the floor.
((I hope you don't mind Monika having a crush on Daniel, if you do, let me know))
