HAPPY MAR10 DAY EVERYONE

One year ago today I went to the Nintendo Store @w@ In New York America

It was b e a u t i f u l TwT

But very... crowded... only go on Mar10 day if you want free swag, otherwise every other day is just as awesome. They have Switches set up to play on the top floor, and an entire wall is just a giant TV. They had an entire section dedicated to LoZ, another to splatoon, mario stuff everywhere, and the employees were like, that teacher that rounds your grade up even though they know you don't deserve it they're just genuinely that nice kind of nice.

Story: My friend was dead-set on getting me a protective cover for my Switch, and they were handing them out free... but only if you brought your switch. You also got these sweet Mar10 day Switch covers that go on, like, the joycons and dock and stuff, really sweet stuff. didn't have my Switch with me, but, suspicious of the hotel staff, I brought my games (and 3DS & games). The employee said I couldn't get one cuz I didn't have my Switch on me, but my friend, desperate and convinced I would break it, told him I had my Switch games. The employee looked sketchily around to make sure no one was looking and slid one across the table to my friend. These are the people I aspire to be.

I got a LoZ game for a third the normal price ;w;

I highly recommend paying a visit to my future employer to the place at least once uwu

I went there once and walked away with an Alolan Sandshrew plushie. Her name is Slide, and she's currently sitting on my bed, wearing a scarf I crocheted. :3

It's such a cool place though!! And the staff's pretty cool as well. I suggested that my sister play Smash against them, but she said she didn't want everyone else to look bad XD

B r u h I'll take you let's go-
Pack your bags, we're moving in-

Oh yeah, Carnegie Hall was another place in New York America! That place seemed pretty important to me 0-o so big and fancy! Apparently it's really important to musicians? *scrambling at trying to be relevant* And you play in an orchestra... wasn't it at least a LITTLE cool?

:O no way! Why do so few people have 3DSs anymore

I'd love to, but I don't have a Nintendo account yet ;-;

That's the model I have ;w; But I also have one that doesn't work anymore, a REALLY old one from when they were new, in my closet. I wanna repair it one day

Yeah, it was pretty epic! I did a piano competition there. Lost. Ah well, at least the acoustics were good :P
I just have a 2DS. Made some fond memories playing Pokemon Platinum. Got a chip with Mario Kart. Is there a space between the two words or not?

Probably because of the Switch xD

I bought mine new out of the box from uhhh someone on Mercari, Its plain ole' black but ive bought an aluminum green case off ebay for it.

All my games are second hand but I have: Pokemon Moon and Sun, Minecraft, Scribblenauts Unmasked, Codename S.T.E.A.M, LBX Little Battlers Experience, Scribblenauts Unlimited, and Animal Crossing New Leaf.

That sounds so awesome!!!! :D Man, I wish I got to do competitions like that X3 Was there any prize involved or anything, were there like 10 trillion people watching, or...?

...Ah. A 2DS. That... those are ai'ight. The 3D technology isn't really necessary anyway and all, so it makes sense to cut costs, but... why... why don't they fold...

...It's Mariokart. *ahem* so like Mariokart7 or DS? Both are compatible with the 2DS system XD
