She took the fish and brought it back, giving one betweent he two birds and two between the wolves. She looked at how many she had left with a sigh. Could she risk eating? She looked around, checking whether any were ill or cold.

she leans into the touch then looks up and growls at a bird.

I laugh and look at the bird, wondering if it will cause trouble. I stroke her gently.

They all seemed better. Obviously they would need more food but you could eat some of the leftovers

The bird flies off and she calms down. she looks up at you and for a moment the two of you just sit there, her paw is on your hand. Then her brothers come out of the stump and she jumps on them playfully.
