There was a ******et just out of the wall where the building had started to crumple, it looked like it had been crafted there on one of the water pipes that possibly used to lead to a sink.

(I'm not sure if I would control the dream or not, but I'm going to just roll with it a bit. Also, sorry I've been gone for so long, finals and the SAT killed all my free time)
She dreamed in faint wisps, remembering the night her father died in bright flashes of memory. When he had come in that cold night, soaked with rainwater and his own blood. He collapsed, and her mother screamed, and Navani couldn't understand enough to do anything but stare. The coldness she had felt as the shadow had enveloped him, stealing away his life as his bandages were soiled with his liquid life. She cried then, that scene did not come in a flash, it stayed, haunting her sleep. She had been so young, remembered so little. Why had he been killed?
