Well, I mean, sales were declining WAAAAAY before the Switch, back before 2015. The CEO at the time, the great Mr. Iwata, even cut his own salary in half to combat the losses, AND gave up all benefits like retirement and such @-@ Absolute legend.

Mine's black too, but with doggo duct tape on it ;w;

I really, really, REALLY want to get my hands on a limited edition one someday -w- They have a whole display case of them in the Nintendo store, genuinely brought tears to my eyes, they're absolutely incredible

Sweet ;w; I got 16 games, some second hand (no shame in a used game XD). I've been collecting for nearly a decade tho... let's see... I only remember 14 right now
Mariokart7
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D
Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D
Rayman 3D
Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D
Super Mario 3D Land
Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story
Mario & Luigi: Dream Team
Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam
Paper Mario Sticker Star
New Super Mario Bros. 2 (chewed up by my sister rip)
Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days
Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance (cuz it got 3 Ds, get it?)
and the crown jewel of my collection, made by the great Masahiro Sakurai as a release title for the 3DS--Kid Icarus: Uprising

Looks like we don't have a lot of overlap X3

Nope apparently not XD
I was kind of wanting to buy uhhh,,, a fire emblem limited edition I think? Its gorgeous, white with this really pretty pattern? But I couldn't get my hands on one in my budget *^*''

i'm not actually super into the "Nintendo" fandom as you know it, Mario and Luigi games, Legend of Zelda, Donkey kong etc
However I just got an old SNES Legend of Zelda: A link between worlds cartridge. I don't know if it works, but I don't have a system so I cant play it ;-; It looks really cool thoooo-- and I'd love to play it someday.

I was going to get a final fantasy game for my 3ds.... But I couldn't find any secomd hand in my budget >->'' How is Kid Icarus btw? Like...I haven't looked into it much but it looks like it could be interesting,, is there a story?

Dude that one's epic @w@

Hehe, it's all good, Miyamoto isn't the entirety of Nintendo XD (those are mostly his games ya listed off there)
D: You Have A What
I don't have a system that old either, but m y d u d e y e s that's so cool ;w;

...
XD
I am laughing so hard right now--
I just--
I can't--
Fire... Fire Emblem... is made by an entirely different company... Intelligent Systems...
And Final Fantasy... is Square Enix... the people who made Kingdom Hearts, too...
oh goodness, I'm sorry, but really this day has been pretty hard for me for some reason and what you said brought a huge smile to my face, thank you-

They actually called it Final Fantasy because the devs thought it would be the last game they ever made, the company was failing so badly... it was a huge success and they decided to make 20 quadrillion more... "final"... fantasies ;w;

Oh I was interested in Fire Emblem Awakening too, but just like final fantasy I couldn't find it in my budget.

Yeah. There was money. Forgot how much, though. It wasn't packed, but there were a decent amount of people. More than I've ever performed in front of, at least.
Why don't they fold what way?
I dunno. I never played it, my brother did.

Hehe, yeah
I have a Final Fantasy game for the GameBoy Advanced, passed on from my dad
My sister took the blank file, but I didn't want to delete his 300 missions, so I'm playing far above my skill level and I can feel his party silently glaring at me, shaming me behind their pixelated anime eyes 0-o

I thought of a Fire Emblem game, but I learned the hard way I would never be great at RPGs like my dad was ;-;
So here I am playing hack-and-slash/adventure/platformer games

I mean, they're probably going for less now. Most 3DS games anymore go for, like, a third of the price they used to.

Kid Icarus...
Is absolutely incredible @-@
It is more hack-and-slash, which I don't usually play, but I mean I liked it.
The graphics are stunning for the time
The script Sakurai wrote is hilarious, develops the characters well, and keeps the story going, no interruptions
The characters are well developed and likable (I wanted to be like best friends with the villain until right near the end 0-o)
it's fast-paced and has tons of customizable weapons
You set your own challenge
It entertained me for a year straight. Like, the metal on the chip is worn away from writing and re-writing everything I've done
