While I (Impatiently) wait upon my endless string of lunemara end product, I think I will start this project here:

Indian Mysticism

edit: I am bored of the red/black/white ones now. I think I am moving on.

Hey, Sav, why not join? It's not as if you have to pay dues.

As for your Patriotics, I suggest giving the nameless boy Gene One Clown Triggerfish and Carried Blue Ringed Octopus, and then Mutate him to have Fairy Wings--

You could give Landro Vis Lucky Runes and Carried Underbelly Fade, or maybe the other way around--

Good point! I should just join. Besides I'm hoping to start going through a lot more of my sylvorpas coming up. Eventually I want to go through and mutate everything but I always worry about if there's something that'll come along eventually that I'll want to kick myself later over. Eventually we'll all run out of stuff to mutate.

Speaking of mutating, and sorry for the off-topic, I was talking to Zeo about the patriotic zolnixies. I think I've got plans for mine figured out. But again I almost kinda fear having gorgeous new traits in the future. Feel free to reply to me if you want on my project thread regarding it.

Eventually I'll make additional posts about the rest of stuff needing to be done particularly the sylvorpas since there's so many needing to be regenned still. It's easier to keep track of them all this way.

Regarding your suggestions, I have to say I'm rather surprised how decent the dark blue swung sylvorpa looks with lucky runes. I think on the lighter ones it's not as nice looking. I'll consider giving the other one clown triggerfish as well especially if it's not currently in the gene pool or harder to get. I'll have to look at all the other patriotic sylvorpas I have to think about how to further mutate them eventually. I definitely would like to give one of them the fairy wings. I'd also like to see how the lotus traits look on them. And swirling seaweed.

Well, there is a certain selfishness in my suggestions, Sav, since I really want Fairy Wings for my Patriotic Sylvorpas, and I don't own any Tamed ones.

;)

I have added you, so feel free to make an "About My Sylvorpas" post, if you happen to want to.

IMO, Lucky Runes are often an under-rated trait, regardless of the species. So it's always one of the first traits I look at.

And with Patriotic pets, I've noticed a tendency for just one color to severely dominate the rest once you get over 2 Vis, so planning a project with them can be a lot of work as you try to balance the colors.

And I get you about hesitating to Mutate pets. I have two Tamed Cool Night Sylvorpas (Katafront and Skypunch) who are just waiting for a worthy trait for them to come along.

Though I could NOT resist Fairy Wings for Cool Night Vorpas--

Fairy wings is definitely a favorite trait of mine. So I think eventually the wings would find their way on one of my patriotic sylvorpas. I'll have to look through and see which one would look best with it. Unfortunately, I can't spend real life money on the game very often so I think you've seen that I move about as fast as a glacier.

I think I'll try though to work out what I would like theoretically on each themed pet as I have time. That way I can maybe concentrate on the ones I really love first and then slowly work towards others. By the time I get to the others there might even be traits I love better by then for them.

I'm currently also sitting on a Halloween Sylvorpa. I think everything I like best others have already done and I feel like it'd be a shame not to have something that hasn't been used since they're so few. So I'll just wait and see what comes along. At least sylvorpas have already been revamped so there should be something new every fest.

Btw, I think towards the next fall fest we should make a suggestion to see if it's possible to have the sylvorpa and kelparies coded so they can also drop from the Headless Horseman (and also from the zone nests). I would say to wait till closer to then because I worry it could get forgotten if we bring it up now. Of course, this is if the 2 year rule doesn't apply to the Halloween themes or the other themes that have now been changed into rarely acquired exclusives. I'm really hoping older themes stick around in some way even if rare.

Do not sit on your Halloween Sylvorpa!

Sylvorpas have to breathe!

That's a very good idea. It would be great, if it was possible to get new Halloween Sylvorpas (and Kelparis). We should definitly keep that in mind.

I'm also sitting (very carefully of corse ;-) ) on a Halloween Sylvorpa to maybe mutate it with one of the traits that will be released during the spring festival. I'm going to post in the Halloween Sylvorpa Breeding thread, before I do any mutating, to avoid that there are accidentally two Halloween Sylvorpas mutated for the same trait. As long as there are so few mutateable ones, that'd really be a waste.

@Mohya, Do you know if there's been a count regarding how many mutateable ones are left that belong to active players? I'll definitely try to coordinate with who's left if possible.

Hm. Mohya is keeping a tally of Halloween Sylvorpa traits on the Halloween Vorpa sub-thread, so I just did a count of Mutated vs non-Mutated Tagged Halloweens. Since there are only 24 (counting the 1 that somebody released), it was not a difficult task. Eight of the 24 have been Mutated. Unfortunately, 6 of the 24 are in accounts that appear to have been abandoned.

I own one of the not-yet-Mutated myself--

My name is Ergilian Caecilian, but you may call me Gilian if you like.

He is awaiting the perfect trait before he is Mutated. (He also has a trait point I haven't assigned yet.)

So that's 10 then left with at most 7 other players to work with besides me, you, and Mohya. That's an amazingly low number remaining. Has there been tallies of the other sylvorpa themes? I'm wondering now how many others have very low numbers of tamed that can still be mutated.
