The bird flies off and she calms down. she looks up at you and for a moment the two of you just sit there, her paw is on your hand. Then her brothers come out of the stump and she jumps on them playfully.

I laugh and watch them, relaxed and calm

They all seemed better. Obviously they would need more food but you could eat some of the leftovers

She sighed and nibbled a bit, but left everything else to the animals. She stroked one of the birds and kept an eye out, letting herself rest. It'd be a long day and the storm had scared them all

they scuffle for a while then the adolescnt wolf comes out and sits by you, watching the pups scuffle.

I go back to camp and make another little tipi out of the twigs and try lighting it.

i try to weave some vines into a cup shape and add straps
