When you finally get back to Malindi's, Knight is several steps ahead of you, as he was all the way there. You're slightly out of breath, but you get it back quickly.

"This sword is gonna be amazing," he says, flicking the door open and waiting for you to go inside.

"Already have," he says, stepping aside to reveal a small, Goblin sized fire. "I'm used to just making fires for myself... I hope it's big enough."

He takes the fish and quickly assembles a spit, putting the fish on and turning it. The smell of it being cooked wafts over to you, making your mouth water.

"Seems like it," he says some time later, taking it off and cutting it, giving the bigger bit to you.

His head tilts, then he waves back.

Suddenly, his cart jolts and he loses his balance. He rolls off of the roof and over the side.

Seconds later you see him in the grass, but he can't seem to get up. He waves his hands at the rest of his caravan, but no-one has noticed that he's fallen. They carry on, unbeknownst to the fact they've left him behind.

As you continue through the river, you are grateful for how cool it is. The sun is scorching, and the water is your only relief.

Eventually, you realise that the water slows here and gets slightly deeper. Not that deep, but noticably. You can make out what appears to be a blockage up ahead - it looks like a clump of dead grass or something. It's hard to tell without getting up close.

"Thank you," I say as I take the fish.

Unfortunately, I'm having to leave Sylestia for the forseeable future. Creature Kin, as of now, will be dormant until I return.

However if you wish you can take it into your own hands. If you would like, it could be repurposed into an open roleplay world and you can all roleplay with each other as your characters with your familiars etc.

Really it's your decision, just I won't be narrarating until I get back. I can't really stop you from doing your own things anyway so... yeah. If one of you would rather take up the mantle of narrarator and make a new Creature Kin RP game/RP then that's fine, it's in your hands.

Sorry to be leaving you all, it's been nice roleplaying and I have enjoyed all of your character's stories as they progressed. It really didn't last all that long but it felt like it anyway. Hopefully I will return at some point and we can all pick up where we left off.

May your path be a good one, as Creature Kin NPCs would say,
