Do you happen to have any Springtime Zolnixi offspring that I can buy?

Certainly, Feathy. However, I notice that your Stables might be about to become overcrowded when your teenagers leave the Hatchery. You might want to buy another Tab or two before getting your Purebred Springtimes. What are your favorite Zolnixi traits, by the way?

This Springtime Zolnixi thread is a bit of a mess right now. Fortunately, the reason for the mess is that the Springtimes are no longer endangered, though the Theme isn't quite secure yet, in my opinion. I'm putting together a new Springtime Zolnixi thread that will be a searchable database of traits. Hopefully this will make it easier for people to do projects with the Springtimes.

My favorite traits are Pearl Armor, Tri tails, and Bandana, but I also like Royalty ^^ I find them very adorable.
And for her, she isn't part of a project, but I love her color and how she looks

Also, I've been looking at the Springtime Zolnixies that I can spare--hard to part with any of them, but it's for the good of the Theme as a whole. The more people who own some, the safer they are. What do you think of this todd?

In addition to having two of the traits you like, he has good colors. That's an important consideration with any Themed Offspring; you worry about the colors drifting away from the Theme's palette after enough generations have passed. Triple's father is an original, Tamed Springtime, so it's really no wonder his colors are true.

Even though he has no Visible traits, his colors are actually a tiny bit better than Triple's, because his Mutation Three Color is slightly stronger. He has Carried Tri Tails, Bandana, Butterfly Wings, and the scarce Sea Darter trait. (It's a weird thing, but only a very few of the original Springtimes have any trait at all the the Gene Two slot.)

I realize this is two todds, but I have about twice as many Springtime todds as vixens. Hunting through the vixens will take me a bit longer. However, please do let me know your opinion of these two. If they aren't what you're after, I'll look a bit more.

I think they are both beautiful! I'm not sure which one is better--I like that Triple has a darker pelt with visible traits, and I like that Calan has a rare trait in a rare place.

You can see the Carried traits in italics after the pet has been genetically tested. Before the pet is tested, all you will see (in text) are the Visible traits.

So before I tested Triple (for example), the information on his page looked like this--

Gene One: None
Gene Two: None
Gene Three: None
Mutation One: Tri Tails
Mutation Two: Bandana
Mutation Three: None

Your little vixen certainly has at least one Carried trait, because her father had Visible Wings.

I played Sylestia for over a year before I bought one, however. The Breeding Discussion forum has a lot of threads where people with the Exceptional Genetic Test Kits offer to do genetic testing for free.

Sure. Free testing works like this. You set her up for sale to my Player ID, which is 24084, for a price of 1 gold. When you've done this, let me know. I buy her, test her, set her up for sale to your Player ID, and let you know that she's ready to be picked up. Then you buy her back for that same 1 gold.

I agree with you about the original Springtimes that have been released. However, since the time I began this thread, two people who released their original Springtimes have been located and persuaded to come back into Sylestia long enough to retrieve the pets from the wild and sell them to active players. And, of course, we're still trying to track the other players down. You never know!

I will set the two todds up for you. You can pick them up whenever you get a bit more room in your Stables; they won't go anyplace until then--although I will place them in the Sea Tac tab of my West Seattle stable. That's where I put pets who are in transit to somewhere else.
