This was fun! I love photography. (Sorry for the blurry name tags.)
1. Find something that is red.
2. Find a yellow flower.
3. Find an animal nest (so a bird nest or squirrel nest etc).
4. Find an ant hill.
5. Find something hairy. (I love this dogs fur, so I had to share. :) )
6. Find something that is translucent. (Little rain drop to the right.)
7. Find a flowering tree.
8. Find a plant starting to grow.
9. Find a mammal.
10. Find something bumpy.
11. Find something smooth.
12. Find something that has 3 different colors on it.
13. Find something that flies. (a bee flying)
14. Find something that is edible. (yes dandelions flower and leaves are edible!)
15. Find something that is litter (and throw it away!).
16. Find a rock that you think looks interesting.
17. Find something taller than you.
18. Find a feather.
19. Find some animal tracks.
20. Find an insect (don't kill it :) ). (ant near top of picture)

Honeysuckle vine at the far right.

Here are my entries for the outdoor scavenger hunt! By the way, it was a lot of fun! :D Also, the dates I took these pictures was April 28th and April 30th. I emailed them to myself through my cellphone, and for some reason it took them up to 4 days to get to my inbox. Must have got stuck in internet limbo~
1. Find something that is red.
2. Find a yellow flower.
3. Find an animal nest (so a bird nest or squirrel nest etc).
4. Find an ant hill.
5. Find something hairy.
I love ****** willows :D
6. Find something that is translucent.
Decided to take a second picture so there was a closer up shot of the creek and mini mini waterfall.
7. Find a flowering tree.
8. Find a plant starting to grow.
You get the before and after images of the maple tree coming out of the maple key~
9. Find a mammal.
Wanted a closer image of the grey squirrel. It is eating some bread that we left out for them and the bunnies.
10. Find something bumpy.
This tree had a lot of knots in it. Figured it was suitable.
11. Find something smooth.
For a rock not in the water, the top of it is surprisingly smooth.
12. Find something that has 3 different colors on it.
13. Find something that flies.
It is very hard to take a picture of a bird with you name by it, so I took a blurry picture of the bird(a small speck in the first image) with my name and date, then I took a close up shot of the robin. It is eating a worm. I was very happy to get that action shot! :D

It's been colder up here later than normal, so I was worried about finding something edible outside, but my chives did not fail me!

The cardboard has been put in the proper place.

Yeah, those trees are really tall. Far taller than even the shed in the picture.

So, I believe that this may be an owl pellet from the resident great horned owls living in the forest behind my house.
19. Find some animal tracks.
Best place to find animal tracks anytime is by a creek or body of water.
20. Find an insect (don't kill it :) ).
For some reason the flies love landing on the tree stumps at the side of my house.

Scavenger List

The umbrella cos is raining
2. Find a yellow flower.
Bitter melon growing on the fence
3. Find an animal nest (so a bird nest or squirrel nest etc).
A rat nest... under the patio. I know...
4. Find an ant hill.
Its raining and the ants are no where to be seen. If the rain clears up before the deadline will get pictures of them.
5. Find something hairy.
We call this "Pele's Hair". It is an air plant. =^.^=
6. Find something that is translucent.
Raindrops puddling on a small chair.
7. Find a flowering tree.
This is a Plumeria tree, small, in a pot, and someday will be planted in the yard. =^.^=

I think these new sprouts are daffodils - can't remember now...

A wet dog. Told you, is raining.

Bark on some kiawe wood.
11. Find something smooth.
Kiawe wood without the bark.

This is a painted rock.
13. Find something that flies.
Its been raining, so all the typical bugs and birds are not flying now. Hopefully will stop long enough so I can get pics of them.

Green onions in a small pot. Did you know, they bloom little flowers? =^.^=

We keep our yard pretty clean...

This rock is going to be painted someday - not sure with what though...

This is another type of Plumeria tree... it is about 12 feet tall now.

As the rain was getting bad, i came back inside to find the feather - on my dream-catcher.

Lured that poor wet dog into the house, and here are her tracks to prove it.
20. Find an insect (don't kill it :) ).
A ground flea. It jumped away and was hard to photograph! No, I didn't kill it, I think the dog will...

1. Find something that is red.(Hummingbird juice!)
2. Find a yellow flower.(Repeat but it's the only yellow flower around... really lacking yellow in my life)
3. Find an animal nest (Robins nest!).
4. Find an ant hill.(red ants, don't get too close they bite *CHOMP*)
