well, at least you unlock a test kit, the diamond shop wont let you buy the same twice so it should be safe on that side for next time. At the beginning of all festivals those kits get a discount and their prices are reduce to 1000 diamonds, worst case senario wait a few months and save some diamonds during the summer fesival. ^-^

Yes, I saw the dates on the event. I started just too late to know what I'd want, or even if I'd stay in the game more than a few days.

And I don't have the patience to wait when there's an event going on and I'm clueless :D

So right now I'm happy with what I've bought. And VERY glad I can't buy the same thing twice!

well if you nead any advice or explanation on the game feel free to ask otherwise there are a few guides that i recomand to new players :

guide to make gold, somthing new players often struggle with.
breeding guide it will help you understand how to select breed traits and sutch no matter if you just want to get a generic sylvorpa with lotus scale or a 6vis ny'vern with very specific traits and coloration the number of traits only affect the lengh of time it will take to reach that goal.
battle guide stats, elements, equipement, team building and all that fun stuff to beat bosses.

I could use all of those!

I have pets for missions and sell some stuff on trade broker, but I can't even afford another equipment tab in inventory.

I have reached the next level of confusion. I got into a battle and tried to read a pet's genome. (luckily I didn't wait for a pet that I was interested in trapping.)

When I click on Manage, the pop-up shows, and the genetic scanner is in position 6. But it's greyed out. I can only use the trap, healing elixir and revive.

Help again please.

If it isnt in your inventory then you cant use it.

Grayed out icons are unusable. If it's an item, you need to get another too use it again.

Items say if they cna be used more then oece when you hover over them in the inevntory.

How can I do CoDs?

CoD is the price attached to an item sent (it's short for 'cost on delivery' or something like that) that the other person pays to receive that item from you
When you go to send an item to a player, it brings up a popup with boxes for the Recipient and the CoD fee. You just type the gold amount in the cod box.
(this is also used as a way to send players money- the person to receive the gold sends some worthless item like a fairy mushroom to the person who is paying the gold, with the decided amount of payment as the cod fee)

Does anyone know why in the enigmatic grotto i got a tpk with no warning? I have pretty overleveled pets for the area (been doing fest stuff) and came across a mysterious item "dig a hole" encounter, and then just. No flavortext or anything all my pets were dead? Most of the traps in the mysterious item encounters were doing ~150 damage so I don't think it was that, and anyway if it was I'd have expected some kind of text saying so, not to just suddenly be booted? I paid to revive them, but the whole thing feels like a bug tbh
