And...she inherited Daddy's Deep Sea Runes!
Um . . . hi. What's all the fuss?
OK, she has only two trait points total, but still...Deep Sea Runes!
To everybody: I have been told by several people that I have a knack for naming pets, and I've won a number of pet-naming contests. If you'd like me to help you name a pet, just PM me. I'll do my best.

SpaceElf: LOVE your new Deviant Deluge filly! Now she just needs nebula and I'd steal her in a heartbeat. :-P Congratulations on your other girl getting deep sea runes. You are on a roll!
Savynn: I haven't started the 6vis project yet, but I'll make a note that you'd like a girl from it. Right now I'm trying to figure out how to clean up my stables a bit. I really need to start culling, but I'm such a hoarder! I really like the colors on your two project ideas (especially that first one), but you're right that they need something. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what they need either. I have several like that myself that I've just set aside for later.
Draki Wow, you've been busy! I've futzed in the generator, but I've only actually regenned a couple of my Kelps. I really need to stop preparing and just go! I know what you mean about using the same traits. I've been trying to play with all of them, but there's definitely a set I keep going back to. My swamp kelps (they are both named after swamps) are two that have the traits you like as well.
They still aren't quite right yet in terms of color, but I do really like these traits on them. So, for now they just sit patiently waiting for me to figure out how to color them correctly.

Faeyla: Those swamp kelparies are gorgeous! I'd honestly love to buy an offspring from them, too, though I can't decide if I like the male or female best. The male I think is lovelier regarding the stripes and horns. The female I think has the lovelier wings.
I know your pain regarding stable organizing. I have so many stables and yet I feel like I need many more. The kelparies have helped me start pruning though since I see the few of them that I have and they're so pretty. I go to look at my other non-themed stables full of 1 vis or no vis pets and I'm just : / . I think I'm probably approaching 300 released over the few days and there's many more to go.
What's helped me since I also like hoarding is I made a post in my project thread to save images of all of the ones I released that I liked the colors of. That way I can go back and use them as inspiration maybe later on. It also still sorta feels like I have them that way, too. It also helps knowing that released pets can also be reclaimed if I ever truly felt the need that I had to bring one back.

Before I said "Enough!" and started focusing on saving for new tabs, I bought some 6-point, fully regen'able Kelparies. Now I need a design. What color would you folks say is the most neglected among Kelpari designs? That might give me a starting point.
Re what Savynn said about hoarding: I am thinking of dropping a suggestion to Faiadon that Sylestia needs a "Beloved Pet Retirement Home."
I imagine it working like this: You have a pet you don't want to sell or release, perhaps for sentimental reasons, but your Stables are crowded, plus you have to keep feeding this pet. Then you realize you have no future plans for breeding this pet, either. You put the pet up for public breeding, but no one is interested, it seems.
So, you take your pet to the BPRH. There, you pay a small Diamond fee, and your pet gets comfy quarters, is fed at no cost to you, has no Missions or fighting or breeding to do--but still belongs to you.
In game mechanics terms, perhaps you would pay a 5 Diamond fee. The pet disappears from your Stables and appears in the BPRS "Stables," which simply expand as necessary. You are still on the pet's Profile as the owner, but your pet can't breed, go on a Mission, or join a Party. If you decided you wanted to retrieve the pet (like retrieving a pet from the wild), your fee would be 45 Diamonds (because you already paid 5 when you retired the pet).
I don't know about anyone else, but I would totally go for something like this. Thoughts? Am I just weird?

@SpaceElf1
I've been thinking about this suggestion. I would maybe call it something else but not sure what. Though I was thinking doesn't releasing work much the same way already? It's just that we can't organize released pets? And I'm not sure we can see the name of the previous owner. Though for a price that person can still pull the pet out so it's still registered to them in some way then.
-------------------------
Back to kelparies themselves, I have a lot of hatchlings and adolescents I'm waiting to grow up so I can then breed them. I've been trying to breed in the new traits to kelparies that already have a lot of trait points. And then the plan is to breed the babies who hopefully have a bunch of carries at the very least to each other for hopefully more vis again. The only problem is I'll need to use a bunch of dyes at the end to make them pretty again. ><

I finally got my hands on another Greater Mutator and did this:
He's set up for public breeding.
I also regenerated this guy with Splash Wings. I liked the old Splash Wings better, but the new ones start growing on me.
Faeyla, I'd be interested in breeding Lagoon Plum to your Nebula girl. Would you set her up?

Mohya: I've set her up for you https://www.sylestia.com/view/pets/?petid=2020450
To all: Thanks to my crazy work schedule I haven't done much other than attempt to keep up with my many breeding projects. I was pleasantly surprised to find a 6 vis girl had hatched from my red and silver kelp project.
I think I might have decided on the colors for my swamp kelp. I still keep going back and forth on it, though.
Of course, I have enough regen kelp that I could do both....I am way to indecisive at times. :-P
Is anyone planning on doing a project with Blue Hydrangea kelp? I have several regen offspring that I'm just hoarding with no real purpose. I really don't like pastels, so I need to find them new homes.

Hello yes I would like to join please, thank.
I've just now gotten around to seeing what all the revamp has done to my babies, and I have to say that I'm a little disappointed that Mystic Horns and Mystic Water are now in the same slot, making them unpairable. :[
On the other hand, look at my pretties now!
Limon, would who be Limn if Sylestia allowed any characters outside of apostrophes and the English alphabet, is a sunny stunner after regenerating the eligible colors.
Even though he has a couple regenerable color slots, I decided to keep Kise the same because he still looks pretty. ^^
Big Red came out looking a little festive after the update, so decided to just go with it when I regenerated her colors, and even threw a dye at her to make her C2 fit better.
And then I came to Suga, who looked quite different before the update, but now he has 6 regenerable GP and all colors regenerable, and now I'm not sure what to do with him. He was part of my Kelpari raid team with Limon and Kise because the yellow theme sort of fit, but now he looks like an Easter egg! XD
Any suggestions, Klub?

Faeyla: Thank you! Your swamp project looks good with the brown mixed in.
I'd like some blue Hydrangea Kelpies, but I'm a bit broke right now. Maybe write me a PM about how much you'd want for them and if you'd swap for something else in my stables.
SparklingGanymede: I added you. Welcome!
You could give Suga more yellow or orangeish fins. Then he'd fit again.
