Thank you for deciding to have the festival after all! I have a quick question, though. The announcement post said there would be new avatar items in the fest shop, but they haven't shown up yet. Was that a typo or have the artists not been able to finish them yet? I'm not trying to rush nobody, I was just wondering when (if?) we should look out for them because that's one of the things I was looking forward to. (I'd be totally fine with just recolors of old items.)

I believe that is still the intention. I think they are still being worked on.

I took a look at your battle history for the festival zone. You just seem to be having rotten luck. =(

I hope it will turn around for you and even with 4 days down, there is still plenty of time to go. =)

Thank you for your effort, I hope I have some luck today :)

I have a quick question... and I don't really think I should make a thread for this, but it's about those bosses in the festival zone.

So basically, at level 50 and such, I was battling them just fine. Ever since I leveled up however, I've been getting defeated and have been running away more, but I have no idea why. When I do win, I use about 7 revival potion things (at least in my most recent battle) and spend a lot of money healing pets, which is all very costly. Can anyone help me with battle strategies and such? (Also, how useful is the block skill and how long does it last?)

Also, I know that my tank pet is suppose to focus on pretty much hp and agility only, and my glass cannons are suppose to be like, well, glass. Yet I can't help but feel that wastes the potential attack skill that my tank could have, and these enemies can attack all three party members at once, so the glass cannons need to be able to stand against that.

(Apologies for not making a separate thread if this inconveniences anyone.)

Taking a look at your team, I see what looks to be gear issues. A lot of it needs upgrading to gear more appropriate for their levels. One of the relics is split between magical and damage so you're not getting the complete damage from it. It would also be good if you can eventually weed out the warden and crusader stuff for gear more suited to their specific roles. I can send you a message regarding gear and seeing if there's anything in their proficiencies that could be changed that might help if you'd like.

The bosses for festivals do have a lot of health. Someone might not realize they're having team issues until they get into a fight with one of them where it becomes more apparent. It'll still take a lot of turns but it would be good if we can get you where you're not needing to use so much healing stuff and save you some gold.

Regarding the tank focusing more on hp and agility, the position of the tank gets hit more frequently than other positions. So that's why it's a lot about building up health and mitigation. However, as you say, the glass cannons do get hit as well. I like having 5 points of health in proficiencies to give more survivability. But a lot of people have found different builds that seem to work. It's just finding one that you like that keeps you up.

I hope I made sense. I haven't slept well so my brain's kinda fuzzy.

Here's a cheat sheet on what type of gear is generally best suited to a particular role for fighting. There's gear that goes by different names as well that are basically the same thing. It's just a matter of looking at the stats and seeing what's working best for your situation.

magical tank - int/agi - illusionist - magical damage relic only
physical tank - str/agi - assassin - physical damage relic only
magical damage - int/dex - evoker - magical damage relic only
physical damage - str/dex - myrmidon - physical damage relic only

For others who are reading that might not know how to tell whether their pet should be doing magical or physical damage, take a look at your pet's proficiency tree. The special abilities will say whether they do magical damage or physical damage. Magical damage is increased with intelligence; physical damage is increased by strength. Once you know whether your pet does magical or physical, it's just do they tank or not? Tanks make better use of agility while cannons can get away with having more dexterity for better damage since they're not getting hit as often.
