Female and Male animals are how I'd like them to stay. I don't think it's necesarry to add "gender neutral" animals because they're just that, animals. I don't think they have a mind of their own to really determine what gender they are except what part of their body determines it, lol. Plus it's just a game imo, and sure, pronouns can be offensive but I don't think it's a big deal unless you're referring to yourself or another person.
Just my two cents on that topic.
I also have to agree that feathers instead of whisps would definitely look better. The design is amazing, don't get me wrong, but the whisps just kind of lose the feel of it!

I like the attitude they give off, but they're still one of my least favourites :/

I knew this was coming...I love the current look of the puffadores, so I really appreciate that you're sticking true to the original look. I just can't help but be a little apprehensive. I'm sure I'll come to love the new ones just as much as I love the current design ^-^
I don't know if this is just me, but do the female hatchling's eyes look really far apart to anyone else? Especially considering the angle she's turned at...
I'm sure with color and shading, I'll be just as impressed as I was with the ny'venes. Thanks as always to the admins and artists who pour so much into keeping this site wonderful!

Ok this revamp is ADORABLE. I love it. I wasn't a big fan of puffadores before, they just felt a little flat to me... This art has more motion to it!

How adorable! maybe you should make the hatchling male standing up, like it's jumping? Also I think you should revamp the Nykerties at some point.
