Soups are "newbies" they have not done their weapons aptitude test. They are people who haven't been in the orphanage long for whatever reason. Please understand that. (I did include this somewhere because someone else knew not to include a weapon >-< But it can be future weapon.)
They most likely aren't allowed out on hards jobs, or any dangerous jobs at all.

I've read through the rules a lot(so I really hope I didn't miss it- if I did, I'm sorry) and you didn't even explain it to me when I asked you to explain the ranks to me... You also told me newbies/apprentices. And I figured he could be more of an apprentice- still learning because he's younger.

I'm sorry. I'll just get rid of the whole weapon thing. Hopefully being able to save it for later when Todd/Mouse reaches that point.

It's fine. But Soups is based around the length of time you've been at the orphanage ^^ You can make it "future weapon" If your character twelve but has been at the orphanage for 3 years, you'd still be a protector.
I'm a bad explainer but you're a Soup while you're learning how the orphanage works.

I wanted it be that he's been there for a while, but he still kind of the baby at the orphanage with little experience and still being taught and learning things. So how should I go about that?

If he's still learning the orphanage rules, make him a Soup. I'll trust your judgement on making him learning/ a soup.
(Sorry, I was tired/ confused yesterday.)

But, it's not that he doesn't understand the orphanage rules.. he just hasn't been fully introduced in the running errands part. Like he knows of it. He's done small things, but nothing really extreme.

Hmm, okay. I guess he'd probably do a big or medium job with his group then go up to protector. If that's fine with you.
