That's a lot.O-O If I were you I did wait until Chilled Cocoa turn adult. Because then nothing would be stopping it from passing on the star runes since its G3: None is empty which mean it's better chance the star runes would at least pass on to it. But wouldn't be visible.

The reason why the hatchling didn't get Star Runes was because the mom had Frost Runes while the dad had Star Runes which in the breeding system it will try to choose between Star Runes or Frost Runes that's why Snowy Cocoa got Star Runes while the other one got Frost Rune

Why not ask Zaynah to breed with her FS Zolnixi (F). Once you finally get a hidden Star Runes FS Zolnixi Male. She usually lets you breed with them for 100g. Less then what you payed for breeding with the Male Zolnixi breeding.

I have some nixis in my hatchery that need homes! I also can breed you a themed pair from my stables if you dont like whats in my hatchery.
